Super friendly staff! So welcoming and helpful. We received a welcome-watermelon juice upon arrival and we were helped with our luggage and shown around the facilities by the lovely staff. They refilled their stock of our favorite beer so that they wouldn’t run out, and helped us organize a super friendly taxi driver to take us to the airport. So nice location with sun beds in the shadow of the palm trees.

Agonda is nice idyllic south Goan village with a marvellous beach away from all the madness and the crowds of the north Goa. The area is serene with good number of diverse eateries. There are boating trips, to other local beaches, backwaters. The highlight though is 3-4 KMS Beach: The beach is wonderful throughout the day and night, but best during sunrises and sunsets. The evening dinners with live music are what travel memories are made of. Agonda is an experience in itself. been there thrice and would go again in an heartbeat.

The village is very cute and has innumerable shops, cafes and restaurants. We ate very well (all servings are huge and most food is spicy!) There are many hotels; my preference is for the bungalow style hotel that we went to. There are cows ambling around the streets and prices are very moderate. We stayed three days and I found that was about right. It would be worth going for the sunset alone.LeilaFrance - 10Scored 10

South Agonda is a quiet spot with a beautiful beach and...
South Agonda is a quiet spot with a beautiful beach and river behind the Main Street which can be used to boat and kayak down. The Main Street gets busier the more south you go. The top end is much quieter and peaceful . The restaurants and bars serve excellent food and very good prices. The tree top cafe is has stunning views and the BBQ on the beach at Tropical Taste's was sublime. There are boat trips to other areas if you want this. To be on the beach and able to sit on my deck in peace and then stroll onto the sand and swim In the gorgeous clear sea was amazing. The staff were wonderful. The other guests all discreet and friendly but not overly so. It’s India so light fittings etc and all Pretty basic but fan and air conditioning efficient. Comfortable bed and pillows! Agonda is a quiet, clean, non commercial beach, and Agonda Sunset opens straight onto the beach. The staff is very helpful, courteous and hospitable - special shout out to Anoop for giving us amazing food recommendations and helping us plan our itinerary and travel. The property in South Goa is very scenic with no hustle bustle of the North Goa. The views of the lagoon and the beach are great. The staff here are awesome. Especially Aniket , Girish and Mitiza who went beyond their duty to cater to our requests and served us with warmth. Its very near to beach, just cross the road and you'll be on the Agonda beach which is the cleanest beach as of now in Goa. You can very easily rent scooter or car from resort itself at very nominal rentals. We rented Baleno for Rs.1500/- per day rental. The rooms and betsheets are clean. Since there's lot of greenery around, sometimes snails/frogs pops in baathroom but staff comes in quickly and cleans them.Ankur AroraIndia

Beautifully layed out under the palm trees and always clean and tidy. We had a wonderfully relaxed 8 days over Christmas and couldn't have asked for more. We stayed in the beach front bungalow, well worth the extra! Bed was big and comfy. Bathroom was spacious and airy! Balcony was lovely to spend time. Private beach beds a real luxury too (sometimes in sun, sometimes in shade)

To add one special note is that Mr. Sajan is very helpful, he managed and arranged 2 AC rooms immediately since we both families had to extend one day stay. It is budget stay and worth every penny.
