Very friendly. Decent sized room. Ok bathroom. Nice balcony in the room. The terrace was nice for a drink. Just far enough out of the centre. Parking nearby easy. Ok soundproofing.

Hotel Brancamaria is at the entrance of the seaside town of Cala Gonone. It offers bright rooms with large bathrooms and an outdoor swimming pool with plenty of sun loungers.
Highly recommendable is the boat trip along the coast!
Great but out of season. Very good restaurants.
Beware the walk to Cala Luna - ignore the guide book - this is a very tough walk, but worth it if you're young and fit. Walk one way and get the boat back.

Even the town is small, but there are a lot of outdoor program, like boating to the different Cala's, small beaches, which could be accessible only from the sea, by boat.
I strongly recommend to visit Grotta di Bue Marino, a roughly 1 km long cave, with English and Italian language guide.
In the town there is a very interesting Aquarium too.
You may find everywhere good restaurants, bars.
We felt ourselves in the Paradise.

Cala Gonone itself is not that interesting, but you can reach some of the most beautiful beaches by boat from the prier of Cala Gonone. The location is nice, you can reach it after a drive on a serpentine.

Cala Gonone is a sensational destination.
Cala Gonone is a sensational destination. The most beautiful little town with lots of great dining options. The excursions to explore the nearby cove are also incredible. I recommend getting a boat and visiting as many of the ocean access beaches as possible. You wont need a car if you only want to see this little town, however, it is challenging to get to without one. This is a must see destination if you love beaches, boating and great food. Do not miss Cala Gonone!

Peaceful small town with beaches, no rush, a small but great Aquarium, a port, which is great access point to Orosei Gulf. Visited two times off season. Supermarkets expensive, restaurants were not
special but had reasonable price and good food. Check the small restaurant on the top of the hill, right after the tunnel. Great combination for view 7/10 coffee and 8/10 pizza.
The hotel has a view of the sea from many of the balconies and also from the outdoor terrace where breakfast is served. There's also a great restaurant next door (Ristorante Pizzeria San Francisco). The hotel is a little older, but it is well-maintained and has everything you need. Great value. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a large balcony with a partial sea view. Quiet, peaceful, and very close to the marina and many restaurants. They also offered boat tours, and we had a great day on the sea. Breakfast was also great!
Stefano is incredibly nice, understanding and helpful. Not only this, this place was our favourite location in Sardinia. We loved the views from the terrace and the proximity to the lovely coves and beaches. We really liked the amaretti sweets that were homemade and left for us on our arrival. After we left, we had forgotten something and Stefano was extremely kind and helped post it back to us.
Very spacious, deluxe double room with stunning sea and sunrise view from its balcony. Walking distance to the promenade but be prepared for walking uphill due to the town topography and the hotel location. Good continental breakfast and evening a la carte dinner. Super friendly staff. Very clean room and hotel premises. Lots of parking space available. Highly recommended.
Easy self check in and directions. Great view all around, well equipped (although the oven doesn’t work; there is an air fryer also), spacious, comfortable beds. Good communication from host close to check in and check out (we received 29 messages with check instructions; see below) 😁. Cala Gonone is very quiet off-season, but we knew that before booking.
It's a great hotel for this lower price category, one of the best we have visited in Sardinia. Everything an active traveler needs. Comfortable beds and bathroom, tons of towels, great breakfast with variety of fresh fruit, good coffee and lovely staff. The pool area was lovely even though it was still a bit cold to try the pool itself.
We had a great stay at this newly renovated hotel. It has all we needed, comfortable bed, great rain shower, balcony with sea view. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. We had our Breakfast in front of the sea and it was amazing. Easy parking nearby and plenty of options in terms of restaurants. I loved Cala Gonone.
The hotel room and grounds are fantastic!!! The staff is also super friendly. The breakfast was very good too. I suggest having a car because the walk back up the hill from the town would take awhile. The bonus if being up high is you have a beautiful view of the water!
The perfect hotel to stay in Cala Gonone. We received a lot of useful informations about the local facilities from the very kind owner and staff. The hotel was not too crowdy even in July. Delicious breakfast. There were few free parking spaces near the hotel.
This was one of our favorite stays on Sardinia. The 'la torta' sir was one of the nicest people we've met. He made us feel at home. Breakfast was good. The room was clean, new and well designed. The location is beautiful!
The house is in the middle of mountain's. Beautiful views. This place is very quiet. Everyone is very friendly there, highly recommend!!! Special breakfast in the traditional Sardinian "tent". Go there guys!!!
Nice hotel near the beach and restaurants (2 min walk), everything is new and well maintained, the pool is very pleasant and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
