Koufenesia is a very small island with very few hotels and it took me a long time to decide which hotel to get. Paradise Hotel was the PERFECT decision! It has all the amenities I needed- and MORE! They will pick you up at the port for FREE and the receptionist Dimitris was incredibly kind and helpful. The rooms are so spacious and super clean! The rooms are also updated! Location is perfect- close to the town and the beaches!

Breakfast was a fixed menu and no choices. They did offer plenty in that menu.
The beach and surroundings were great as was the water. There is a water taxi nearby to take you to the different beaches as well as into the town which is a hilly walk of about 3 km. Water taxi is 5 euros for the day on and off all day.

Nice place, just outside the village (12 min walk).
The host picked up front the ferry and showed us around.
Spectacular seaview from the balcony.
Quiet location, close to the main beaches.
The room was very clean and the building was well maintained.
There is also a drinks/snacks machine available - a big plus given the fact that the nearest shop is in the village.
Everything was as expected - a big thank you to the host (Adonis).

We stayed in a split level end unit apartment with multiple terraces and 2 bathrooms. The apartment was very clean and nicely equipped for our 3 night stay.
The upper floor is connected via a spiral staircase. This could be tricky for some travelers.
The apartment had a Nespresso coffee maker (you can buy coffee pods at the local markets), a hot plate, an electric kettle and a small refrigerator.
Great views/great location and an excellent value.
The owner was very congenial and stowed our luggage and drove it to the port for us.

It’s a beautiful island with fantastic beaches. Best time to visit would be September or June if you want a quieter holiday. The coast is flat so you can cycle quite a bit. There are regular boats to the beaches - an all day ticket costed 2.50€.

Hop on hop off to kato koufonisia and other beaches of the islands for 10 euro per day.
Friendly people all around. Fresh fish of top quality and selection
We rented a scooter that has proven to be a necessity.
There are also electrical assisted bikes.
Food prices at taverns in general are acceptable.
We could gladly have stayed more than 3 days.

I thought it would be quieter but it appears that Koufonisia has become more popular. We had to go to Kato Koufonisia almost everyday of our stay just to have a quiet and relaxing beach time. The hike was easy, a bit more tiring from the heat but it's worth it.

Lovely island for people who like walking, beaches and a relaxed pace of life without planning much. The island gets busy in mid-July to end of August so I wouldn't choose to go then. I think 3-5 days are best, many people also visit on a day trip.

Very small island. You can walk it.
Very small island. You can walk it. Furthest beach is 1 hour and a half scenic walk along the coast passing many other beaches. The port is the only town on the island. It has a nice ‘chora’ with surprisingly many restaurants and shops. Town is very clean with beautifully paved roads. Very much an upmarket feel to it, but no upmarket attitude, which is a plus. Quiet place. Not for party animals.
The hotel is run by a lovely family, Alex. Haroula and Myrto were very friendly and hospitable. They made my stay unforgettable.
Very very nice breakfast, everything fresh and delicious, from salty to sweet. Haroula's jams are the best.
The rooms are beautiful, comfortable beds, a grid on the windows... Every detail is chosen with love.
A balcony with a view of the beautiful blue colors of the sea...
Transport from and to the port available.
Island and the hotel in one word - fairy tale!
Magical.
It is a modern refurbished hotel newly opened with great aesthetic and amazing staff. The breakfast was small in variety but was the best breakfast I had in a hotel as it was fresh and quality food/well done. The hotel is in the heart of Koufonisi island, meaning closed to the port, and closed to chora which makes it super convenient. The staff was very friendly and professionals. They supported at any level they could, even when we requested to have a wash on my friend’s towel they happily did so.
The villa was fantastic! spacious, cozy, with attention to detail and very clean. Our host was extremely helpful, kind and welcoming to the island. The villa has an amazing view of the sea and it is 10 minutes from Pori beach. Additionally, the villa has a big veranda with sea view which is ideal for a group of friends or family for breakfast, dinner or a late drink. Koufonisia is an excellent choice for summer holidays and the villas make the trip even more enjoyable.
This stay was by far the best part of our trip to Greece. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and is located right in the heart of the town with many beaches, restaurants and shops within a short walk nearby. The owners and staff were very accommodating, and we loved the delicious homemade breakfast spreads in the morning. We hope to visit again soon, it was a place we will not forget!
I stayed on Koufinisia for 6 nights with my husband. We were picked up by car at the Ferry on arrival and at departure. I thought this was very sweet as you are not allowed to rent a car on the island. The hotel was very comfortable and had everything you need and more for a nice holiday on Koufinisia! Thank you for everything!
The island is beautiful and it's a place to come back for sure. The hotel was close enough to the village, a 20 minutes walk.
The balcony off our room gives as a private place to see the beautiful sunset. The kitchenette was perfect if you want to cook your meal.
Alex was a great host, very helpful and kind.
Great spacious room with great shower and all facilities (kitchenette, kitchenware etc) - we really enjoyed the balcony too, it was great to have a space to sit comfortably! Both the owner Mosha and her sister Stella were fantastic, and happy to share information about their little paradise island!
Stunning views and wonderful hospitality. There was a daily cleaning service which was unexpected. Perfect location close to beaches and restaurants. Gorgeous gardens and everything smells so good! It was nice getting picked up and dropped off at the port. The people are so kind
Konstantinos and Sophia were great - they approached first offering a ride from port to hotel. I first thought it was close enough from the port, however, it was of great help given the hot weather, uphill walk with luggage.
Super friendly and welcoming staff. The view from our terrace was beautiful. The breakfast was simple, delicious, and affordable. The location was great for walking to the main part of the island and to the best beaches!
I love this hotel. It was my 2nd visit here. The rooms are clean and renovated. The garden and pool are beautiful. The family who owns it and runs it is lovely and friendly.
The swimming pool was good and the fact they waited for us in the Port to transfer us to the hotel. Additionally, they provided umbrella for the beach for free.
