The view and location was great! Beautiful! I could lie on the bed and look at the ocean, which was a dream. The large shower with endless hot water was fantastic. The mini kitchen was well stocked with plates, bowls, cups, and cutlery, and the mini fridge worked well and had plenty of storage space.

Quaint little coastal town-not a lot to do, we planned to be there three nights, four days but left early on day three. Lincoln City was a nice meeting point for extended family, some of us traveling from northern California and others from central and eastern Oregon. After 6 pm or so, the only thing to do is lose money at the casino. Beautiful beaches, cute shops, and yummy bakery in town. The outlet mall was a fun stop but most people can shop at home, don't need a vacation to necessarily do that.

Some in our group loved going to the casino.
Some in our group loved going to the casino. I just like staying at the beach house and enjoyed the beach itself. Nelscott is a perfect spot for rocking hunting at low tide. When it rained, I just enjoyed the view. Very busy for us since our family includes 5 young grandchildren. Went to Regatta Park on the way home and they LOVED this huge playground. Highly recommend!

LC offers a lot of beaches with good beach access, a casino, lots of restaurant options, hotels, an outlet mall, and other unique shopping options. There are several restaurants in the area with beach/ocean views. Traffic can get a little hectic during high tourist times.

the Roads End beach listed is more than a mile and a half from the hotel..the best bet is to just walk down 1/3-1/2 miles behind the hotel through the neighborhood, along the way is a little park called Connie Hansen botanical garden..then continue down 34th street past Connie Hansen and there is a beach access to get you right on the beach..from there you can walk the 1 1/2 miles of the beach to get to Roads End/God's Thumb area
The hotel was dirty, the website said that the rooms were air conditioned. They were not. There was a ceil8ng fan but the remote was missing and there were no manual controls. Paint was missing on the walls from being worn off. The room air was smelly and stagnant. We ended up leaving and staying at another hotel. No refund, even though the amenities were mistated and we were not getting what we paid for.
For a hotel that is not on the beach line, I was so plesently surprised to still be able to see the ocean out in the horizon from my top floor room! Very nice establishment, clean, everyone was very friendly. Cute fireplace in room, i couldnt get it to work but probably user error. Awesome pool and hottub, had the most fun in one in awhile! Very close the the casino. Ive always loved Holiday Inn Express.
The staff that I interacted with were very nice. I think the hotel was a bit overpriced for the quality of the room but they are working on renovations. It was great having a beach view. The beds were firm and not very comfortable to me but I am sure some people would love them, depending on preference. It is great that they are pet friendly, that's the only reason we chose this hotel!
Beautiful beach and ocean views right outside our large, picture window. The room was nicely appointed and spotless. The bathroom was on the small side, so I appreciated the extra shelves above the toilet. Nice that it was the last hotel on a dead end road, so there wasn't any through traffic or road noise.
We had a great stay. Our family came to Lincoln City at the start of spring break and this hotel met all our needs.
Shout out to Mike in the breakfast room, he took care of all of us dining when we were there and it was great service.
Location is right on the beach. Seeing and hearing the ocean right outside our balcony was lovely! There is a fireplace in the room that adds to a great setting. The bed is so comfortable and the sheets are very soft and cozy.
The unit had a rat. After a Stern conversation with assistant manager, we were booked and his sister hotel for one night. We were told we would have to find another place, even though we had booked two nights at the D Sands.
This hotel is right on the beach and we loved that. The bed was comfortable, it's nice to have a frig., coffee pot & microwave. Areas of the room are dated but that didn't bother us. Plenty of parking & it's free.
We liked the ocean view from our room, the fireplace and the breakfast delivered to the room. The hotel was very clean and the staff (Mike) was friendly and helpful.
Gentleman who checked us in was so pleasant and helpful. And I love a bath, this is one of the only hotels I've experienced a great bathtub when on the road!
The Beach Manor Hotel is right on the beach. The room was very comfortable and spacious for a hotel room. The bathroom/shower was updated and very nice.
