Staff was very friendly, breakfast was good, hotel was kept clean and it was a great location very centralized. One of the issues of the location is the noise coming from the main street in front of the hotel.

I booked two bungalows, and my friends and I absolutely loved the place. It felt like being in Bali or an oasis in the jungle—very cool! The bungalows had everything we needed, including AC and a fan. Just remember to keep the doors closed to avoid mosquitos. The mosquito net over the bed was great, keeping the sleeping area mosquito-free.
The breakfast was excellent, and Gabi was amazing! She was super responsive and provided great recommendations. We went to the restaurant Zu for dinner and highly recommend trying the ceviche, the pineapple with coconut dessert, and the cocktails.
Despite the rain last week, we still enjoyed the pool. The whole place was so peaceful and nice. The location was perfect, with many places just 5-10 minutes away. Great value for the price and excellent service. Gabi, the manager, is lovely! We were very impressed and definitely plan to come back!

The staff and location was just perfect. The resort is secluded so if you need peace and quiet, no loud parties and drunk adults, this is a great place. I was very disappointed with the rooms and facilities being really old. The quality really does not match the price. If the resort was with half board maybe. I would probably come again though because the resort is located on the beach very close to playa Bonita where you can just walk in few minutes. The staff was so much nicer than anywhere we stayed in Dominican Republic. Also, there’s no people on the beach trying to sell you stuff. That was really appreciated. No loud music at night. Food was ok but pricey. I would give 3,5* out of 5 only for location, staff and the fact there is a tennis court and table tennis which was really appreciated!
Located in the city center, along the beaches of Las Terrenas, this colorful hotel features a lush tropical garden, an outdoor salted-water pool and a bar offering drinks, cocktails and snacks.

Very lovely area and safe. We got there by bus from Santo Domingo in 2 hours and the price was like $10. There are a lots of amazing restaurants by the beach with different type of food: pizza, ceviche, salads, pasta, etc. Lots of places to dance and have a drink.

Great for families, couples, solo working adults, older travelers, and pet owners as well. Friendly staff, cool vibe, very complete breakfast included and excellent food on the restaurant menu.

The Saone Peninsula is the most pleasant part of DR.
The Saone Peninsula is the most pleasant part of DR. A large number of different beaches, so that everyone can find something suitable for themselves. Traffic in the city is chaotic, but perfectly manageable once you get used to it, both by car and motorbike. Pleasant sitting and sipping cocktails at the Colibri beach bar. You have a lot possibilities to eat, different restaurants, bars, or you grab smth on the street.

Ballenas beach was amazing for swimming, and great restaurants nearby . We stayed at a smaller condo/hotel close to the beach and were very happy. Feed the poor homeless dogs. The town itself is chaotic and noisy but Ballenas beach area was wonderful

My family and I often go to Las Terrenas where we enjoy the clean water and beach, the lush vegetation and the overall low key ambiance. We do long walks on the beach, surfing and we enjoy the excellent restaurants - Italian and French - in town. Terrenas is for the indépendant traveler who wants to discover other culture. There are also beautiful excursions avsilable: Los Haitises with their unique eco system, the hike to El limon waterfall and catamaran rides to other beaches! Waiting to go back!

Las Terrenas is a busy, small town filled with motorcycles,...
Las Terrenas is a busy, small town filled with motorcycles, ATV's and cars crowding the streets. Once you learn the direction (one way streets) quite manageable. Parking can be a problem in some places but the better restaurants have attendants to help you find a spot. The two large grocery stores have ample parking. A very good choice of nice, highly rated beachside restaurants. More casual dining experiences along the main downtown streets. Lots of French and especially Italian influence. KiiKii beach bar/restaurant sells POUTINE, as good as any in Quebec! Cheese locally made. Even found an outlet selling Beavertails!
Beaches are beautiful and you can park on most of them. Loud "Boom Box" music coming out of the cruising or parked cars and ATV's will make you smile! La joie de vivre is everywhere! Il Lemon waterfall is beautiful and worth the trip if you are able. Clave Verde Eco lodge up the mountain for a change of scenery and wonderful lunch.
Support the locals and buy something!!
The beach is superb, probably one of the most beautiful beaches in Dominican Republic. The pool is also very large, with nice seating around.
Room was big, clean and with a balcony.
We were afraid of the loud music in the evenings, as some people wrote in reviews, but in our room, we did not hear anything, it was perfectly fine.
The food in buffet was good, no complaints. You always find something for your taste. The staff were polite and helpful.
Overall, it is very nice but there is some room for improvement.
I hardly ever write reviews but El Rincon de Abi deserves one. After traveling to over 100 countries I can judge if an accommodation is good or not.
It is very clean, quiet, the location couldn't be better, the owners are friendly and helped me with everything, the breakfast is great, and the bed was almost better than mine at home. If I go to Las Terrenas again I will stay at the Abi again.
A big thank you for everything!!!
It was the best accomodation experience we had in our month int he dominican republic. It was better than expected. Absolute paradise in the middle of the junge. Great design in alignment with nature. Beautiful pool and scenery, friendly and helpful staff, even had a great chat with the owners.
The food in the restaurant was amazing as well! The view from our room was breathtaking. Cant recommend it any more!
Was thankful to book a last minute overnight at Beach Hotel Casa Nina since it was in a great location near the beaches and downtown area of Las Terrenas. Many restaurants were within walking distance and the hotel itself was very charming and quiet. The hosts were very friendly and the room was very comfortable. I love this area of Las Terrenas! Many European travelers and a safe, friendly, relaxed vibe.
The apartment was absolutely fantastic - everything what was offered. It is very much in the center of Las Terrenas, so for me, without own transport - it was great, because it is a walkable distance to all restaurants, bars, cafes, and town beaches. But this is not a guiet location far away from the village bus. The staff was absolutely amazing, very accommodating and helpful.
The owner kindly helped to surprise my wife for her birthday. She was very happy! This hotel really exceeded our expectations. All the surrounding area, room, breakfast was just perfect. The staff is very friendly too. If you are looking for something different and want to have a nice stay in Las Terrenas, we would highly recommend to choose Takuma Boutik!
A perfect accommodation option located directly across from the beach in Las Terrenas and far enough from town to be relaxing and peaceful.
The rooms here are spacious, modern, very clean and very comfortable.
Located downstairs is the best Italian restaurant in town.
I could easily live here. 👍👍👍
I loved my stay. The place is very well and carefully managed, very clean, comfortable, well equipped and its location is great too.
Nice design, everything looks very new and well maintained. Communication with host (on site) is easy and quick too.
I absolutely recommend it for your stay at Las Terrenas.
The rooms were cleaned and spacious. The property is located at the heart of las Terrenas, safe to go to the city and explore. The beach was a few steps away which was very convenient, there’s a beautiful boardwalk which you can explore the other beaches and hotels nearby
Best hostel I have stayed in the Dominican Republic so far, family style, good vibes, the owners are very nice and helpful. Good location, close to restaurants, supermarket, night life at a walking distance. I booked for 2 nights and ended up staying a week.
Really clean and hight quality room in Dominica for price.
Very helpful and open host,
Very good A/C like new one, work perfect quiet.
Hotel stay away from main street you don't hear any motor, motor horn. Las Terrenas its very noisy about motor junk
The Leeloo was a beautiful and Gabi was a wonderful host. The breakfasts were awesome and our room had all that we needed. While the hotel was a short walk to the beach, we were very close to the core Las Terrenas.
Staff was very friendly, breakfast was good, hotel was kept clean and it was a great location very centralized. One of the issues of the location is the noise coming from the main street in front of the hotel.
A great place to stay in the center of Las Terrenas! We had an upstairs mini appartment with a great view over the pool, bar and a little bit of the ocean. Also the staff was really kind and helpfull.
There’s no better location for this price. You’re 1 minute from the beach, with 2 of the best restaurants in town and a smoothie shop just next door. Will stay here again if I’m ever in las terrenas.
The Eco style design of the property is just lovely. The stuff was very nice and helpful. Close to Las Terrenas beaches and restaurants and very peaceful and quietly located.
