We had a wonderful overnight stay, very welcoming and comfortable. Just what we needed after a full day of walking on Offa's Dyke! Dinner and breakfast were both delicious and very good value for money. Fully recommend a stay here.

Breakfast was excellent with a full English breakfast very well cooked and presented. I also enjoyed the evening meal of Lamb Rump; the chef is to be congratulated on presenting an excellent meal. The choice of real ale beers at the bar was also great. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

The B & B is placed right in the centre of the town, is a short distance to most of the local attractions and makes a great base to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside. Great for families, lodges are spacious and private with wonderful views over the fields, waking up with ponies in your garden is fantastic. Accommodation is basic but clean and well suited for families. There’s not a lot on your doorstep so stock up on food etc before you arrive 😁

The lodges are fine. Make sure you order towels and food for breakfast, very reasonable, unless you want to bring your own. We were on motorcycles, so space at a premium. Access looks difficult, but when you get used to site, no problem. If you have a car, nearby Pubs with food. Supermarket not far away at Welshpool.
