The B&B is in a great location, in a pretty setting. The home was well-appointed and cozy. It is only a short walk to the town center and restaurants, shops, etc.
Breakfast was very good. The bathroom was large and nicely renovated.

Great hotel, with attached bar and restaurant. Great location in Lynton close to the top of the cliff lift linking with Lynmouth. 10 minutes to Valley of the Rocks, and perfect for anyone walking the Southwest coastal Path. Good food and friendly staff.

Love Lynmouth, been returning many years, love its quaintness, river meeting the sea, the amazing countryside with so many fabulous walks. Little cafes, gift shops, great eateries, so many other great landmarks to visit nearby. Fabulous food, friendly locals. Nothing to not like

Very quaint.
Very quaint. It is known as Little Switzerland and certainly lives up to that name. We ate at our hotel The Rock House and at The Village Inn. Also breakfast one morning at The Rising Sun (sister hotel of The Rock House.)Everything is within walking distance. All the shops are gift shops or food outlets. Nearest small supermarkets are up in Lynton, easily accessed by the Cliff Railway. There are no Banks, Post Office or ATMs in Lynmouth. Most pubs and hotels only accept card payments.

A great place to relax and enjoy the area.A good selection of bars and restaurants but yo need to go into Linton for grocery or pharmacist. Dog friendly with plenty of parking. Beautiful village right next to the sea and river that can be explored for miles through National trust walks. Also has an old cliff railway that allows easy excess to Lynton which is high above Lynmouth.

The building has so much character, and my room was perfect after a hike along the coast path - having a bath was the best surprise I could've hoped for! I was able to grab a drink from the bar and sit in on my windowsill looking out at the sea view. The restaurant wasn't open, which was a shame, but the manager very kindly arranged a table for me at their sister hotel, the Rock Inn, which was lovely. The staff was very friendly and recommended us things to do and places to go. Best family room we have ever had. We stayed in the 'quarterdeck ' which had a nautical theme, with bunk beds for our children, a cosy TV nook that they instantly claimed as well as a seating area, kitchenette, ensuite and comfy bed for us. The breakfast was delicious, and all the staff were really friendly and helpful.
