A favored vaction spot since the Victorian era, Blackpool is a traditional English seaside town. Amusement arcades and crazy golf courses line the promenade and dotted between them are plenty of places to pick up fresh fish ‘n’ chips and Blackpool rock.
On the 5-mile sandy beach, children can enjoy Punch and Judy shows and donkey rides. Old-fashioned entertainment at its best. At the other end of the scale is the Blackpool Pleasure Beach, a fairground complex comprising a variety of rides, including The Big One - once the world’s tallest and steepest rollercoaster. They actually had to get permission from nearby Blackpool Airport to erect it!
More seaside pursuits are on the town’s 3 piers, one of which is Grade II listed. However, the most recognizable landmark is the Blackpool Tower which houses a circus, 4D cinema and a world-renowned ballroom, to name a few. Modeled on the Eiffel Tower, it is spectacularly lit during the annual Blackpool Illuminations, when the whole town is bathed in bright lights. The trams plying the prom are also lit. Look out for the one shaped like a ship.
A popular bachelor and bachelorette destination, Blackpool has accommodations ranging from North Shore hotels to South Shore B&Bs - see Booking.com for the best choice.

Would definitely visit Blackpool again but would stay in a different hotel .
The location was ideal as close to Winter Gardens , the Centre Pier and the beach .
Trip on a tram from Starr gate to Fleetwood is £6-60 per person for all day travel on the tram and bus , great day out.
The piers are worth a walk around just be wary of the wobbly planks .
Comfy trainers are A must as you end walking A lot further than you expect especially if the weather is glorious and warm.
A good variety of place s to eat but be aware that Wetherspoons is absolutely crammed from around 5pm-8pm.

Apart from the accomodation not being as described online, we had a fab time. We are a family with young children so we would highly recommend The Gruffalo & Friends-well organised, kept the kids active and entertained, and the photo opportunities with the characters was a nice touch.
Sealife-was one of the best we have visited, the kids loved it.
Madame Tussauds- again, kids enjoyed this too especially the music and marvel sections!
The highlight of our trip has to be the Tower Circus...its a must! The kids are still talking about it now!!!
Also, a new addition since we last visited is the Elephant trail...we all loved spotting a new one whether it was among the attractions, on the seafront or in the town centre!!!

Much maligned but you know what you're getting.
Good for pubs/bars/shows/entertainment.
Area behind South Shore unfortunately very run down,
North shore alot nicer and smarter.
Evidence of poverty with several street people begging.
Made to feel very welcome. It was just me and my son, something I do not do very often and so it was nice to stay somewhere so accommodating and with lovely owners.
Very clean, great location (especially for someone with mobility issues like myself). Breakfast was was lovely, and personalised for my son.
My son now wants to live (at what he calls) the red hotel.
Whenever we return to Blackpool, we will be staying here.
Thank you both 😊
Fantastically run hotel by a great partnership. Extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. They helped me with parking my motorcycle and collecting my belongings later in the day. Very clean room and appropriate for a solo traveller. Thank you very much and will stay here on my next visit to Blackpool.
Location was great, with parking on site and tram stop nearby. We had a lovely family room, with a sea view from every window. The Welcome was friendly and helpful. The beds were extremely comfortable. The towels were spotless and very fluffy. Great English Breakfast, made to order, with perfectly poached eggs every time.
Location 40 metre from Blackpool seafront. 600 metres at pleasure beach. Staff pleasant enough. Also cheapest we could find. Access to pool table. Despite what I have said about room, the room was okay just some snagging to be done as hotel looked as everything had been refurbished on ground and first floor that I saw
Lots of room for the price, the place is huge compared to a hotel room at the same price. Dog friendly with no extra charge and great communication from the owner. The kitchen had everything needed to make a simple meal for two. Very central to all things Blackpool with zero street noise.
Very friendly owner who did everything she could to help our family of 5 and small dog, very clean family room with double bed & bunk bed for the kids. For a couple of days stay in Blackpool that accommodates dogs on the seafront this hotel is perfect.
clean room, family friendly accommodating staff, even made breakfast early for us as we had to rush off. Located close to the seaside and pleasure beach. Public parking nearby. For a cheap hotel in Blackpool this hotel deserves 10/10
A great family hotel.Good location. Access to swimming pool. All in all a great place to base yourself in Blackpool plus it's a 10 minute walk from Blackpool North train station. Ideal for the night to check out the illuminations.
Absolutely beautiful best place I've stayed in blackpool, tiffany was also so lovley and hotel smelt amazing superb clean we stayed in the james deluxe suite definitely will be going back never felt so comfortable and welcome
Location was perfect for coming out the hotel to either go left to the pleasure beach/sandcastle walking distance or right for Blackpool tower and shops. Very happy with parking being available at a good value price
Good location within walking distance of Blackpool North train station.
Hotel was close to a number of shops, shopping center, bars and restaurants, supermarkets and Blackpool Tram.
Staff friendly
Exceptional service from the very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is located in the quieter south seafront of Blackpool and all rooms are beautifully furnished. We loved the whirlpool bath.
