The facility is cool and is located near the Elephant Transit House (about 3 minutes). We did a half day safari tour. It was great. If you are not in a hurry I would suggest taking this experience. It starts at 6 am and ends at 1 pm. You will explore the Udawalawe National Park in a jeep (toyota hilux). Breakfast is served in the garden. It's totally worth it. The owners are hospitable and polite. You can also ask to have your clothes washed. Breakfast and dinner are awesome with big portion.Gappil - 10Scored 10

Owners are a lovely and friendly couple. They try their best to make you feel comfortable. The room is cozy and clean with a nice garden. Breakfast is amazing Sri Lanka style with a lot of fruit. They allow me to have my breakfast after the safari tour. Location is great coz it’s close to the Safari. I booked the morning safari tour through the owner which is fantastic. Very friendly family running the place made us feel at home. Well located close to the Udawalawe National Park, where you can do safari. The hosts helped us book a safari trip and did a Sri Lankan cooking class for us which was super cool. For the safari, they had a driver who was very knowledgeable about all the different species of animals and birds. They also packed our breakfast to go for us. We had a great time here. The room was comfortable and the food was great! We enjoyed the authentic Sri Lankan home cooking. It's a short drive from Udawalawe and they organised us a day's safari which was one of the highlights of our three week trip. The host was very friendly and took good care of us. Exceptional price for the best value! Outstanding place to stay! As soon as we will be back, we will come again! Everything is so clean, new equipment, made with love and passion! The host was so helpful and great! The home cooked food was one of the best and served so beautifully. We loved our room, the garden for yoga, the rooftop for relaxing, the location close to the baby elephant orphans station, Honestly I can just warmly recommend you to stay there, you will have all you need and even more for an amazing Udawalawe experience and you can book Safari and straight with the owner, they can organise everything for you. thank you soo much rayan.naguz
