H10 Playa Meloneras Palace, hotel in Meloneras

H10 Playa Meloneras Palace is next to Meloneras Beach and Golf Course in southern Gran Canaria. It has 3 swimming pools, a sun terrace, spa and striking design inspired by Antoni Gaudí.

We had a sea view room on the top floor, which was fantastic. Beautiful views overlooking the beach and pool. The room was luxurious. The beds were so soft and comfy. The infinity pool is gorgeous and so warm. There was a decent fridge with complimentary water provided. We ate in the buffet for dinner on two nights, and it was decent. We also ate in an Italian restaurant on the beach a couple of times and the food was outstanding. We would definitely return to this hotel.

Meloneras, hotel in Meloneras

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a plunge pool, garden view and a balcony, Meloneras is situated in Meloneras.

The location is very good, close to Melonorus beach (5 mins walk) and in the opposite direction lots of restaurants, shops etc (7mins walk) We loved the direct open vista of the sea from the upstairs balcony. The house is very homely and welcoming with a lovely garden and things you may not always find in a self-catering home. Situated directly opposite the sea with a road between which is quiet and didn't bother us at all. A well kept & maintained complex. Good communication with the owner and I would definitely return.

Abora Continental by Lopesan Hotels, hotel in Meloneras

Situated in the centre of the lively Playa del Inglés resort, the hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from a 6 km stretch of beach that extends up to Maspalomas.

The property exceeded my expectations, the hotel is way bigger than I thought it would be. The staff are all so friendly and really hard working each and every one of them in particular Clara she was fantastic from checking us in to helping us with the bus timetable and showing us all the hotspots on the island . The hotel has 3 swimming pools (1 big pool the main one, 1 smaller and 1 kids paddle pool) the hotel rooms are modern and very spacious the hotel is SPOTLESSLY clean! They have breakfast, lunch and dinner in the main restaurant buffet style but there are options for everyone and I between the meal times and all throughout the day they have a pool snack bar which is stocked with pizzas, burgers, hotdogs, chips and fresh fruits and pastries. The 24 hour snack bar is basic but good enough for a “snack” sandwiches and cakes but you won’t ever go hungry that’s for sure! Best hotel I have stayed in Europe and I was surprised at how well they do all inclusive. Already looking at booking another stay in a few months. Value for money is 10/10 and the fact this property is only rated a 3 star is crazy very very least should be a 4 star.

Avoid ,Avoid ,Avoid No way 5 star barely a 3 star !!

Avoid ,Avoid ,Avoid No way 5 star barely a 3 star !! restaurants are like run down cafes , staff are very nice but obviously do not enjoy working in this chaotic regime, noise in the bedroom is ridiculous, may as well leave door open, ok for those who want to be woken up at 6.30am but then be prepared for no coffee making facilities in room , even if you ask for a empty cup , honestly it is a 5 euros charge 😂😂 ,hot breakfast is stone cold , for coffee the machines are so dysfunctional that to enjoy hot coffee you have reheat yourself and use the microwave provided next to machine (as though it’s normal) My complaint only received awkward laughter & was told by the manager this is our standard customer experience and his acknowledgment was “yes I know it’s sub standard”. The pool is supposed to be heated and it is definitely not , if you expect a sunbed in the sun then join the early morning 6am stampedes..This place is “ Unique “it’s a total Joke Do not waste your time and money , we checked out on day two and booked a real 5 star hotel for the remaining five days holiday in perfection warm pool , hot coffee in morning and a room that .

Very nice place with a long boulevard all the way up to Maspalomas (about 2,5 -3 km). Nice restaurants and shops at the boulevard and beautiful resorts. Save place with a lot of possibilities and good bus transport to other cities in Gran Canaria.

Very nice location in the south of the island.

Very nice location in the south of the island. Great restaurants at the promenade. Nice beaches. It is windy so if you really want to swim you should be careful or go to the western part of the island. Bus stop is nearby and you could go anywhere by bus. Many shops at the promenade. You can get anything. I would absolutely recommend. Watch the sunset at the beach.

Fabulous hotel but kind of like a 5 Star prison camp!

Fabulous hotel but kind of like a 5 Star prison camp! There were no water stations BUT you could not bring your own water into dinner. All water had to be bought from the hotel at a cost of €2.5 for 500ml. The water always arrived open so for all we knew it could have been from a tap. Likewise at breakfast, you could not take your morning cup of coffee away from the dining area (say to sit somewhere more pleasant to drink it or in our case to take to the room so that we could follow the events of the Queen Elizabeth II's death). The only dining included in the HB option was the buffet, both breakfast and dinner. I'm not a fan of buffet mostly because the food is generally warmish and not particularly exciting. This 5 Star hotel's was exactly that. It is a big hotel with lots of guests to accommodate. There are ample swimming pools (all fantastic) and whilst there are ample sun beds they are packed in like sardines. All this being said, we did have a great holiday but would not go back. The staff in generally were very friendly and helpful.

Meloneras is a lovely area especially for sports: cycling, walking, running along the seafront or swimming in the sea or the pools. Unfortunately due to the current crisis many places have closed down however, there are still good places to eat and drink in the area : try the Italian cafe/restaurant bar at the top level of the Meloneras Playa shopping centre opposite H10 hotel for a drink, coffee, snack or meal all freshly prepared, delicious and good value for money with friendly staff!

The hotel is absolutely stunning. It has large, beautiful and clean rooms, an amazing breakfast selection for any tastes(pastries, eggs, cold cuts, fruits, champagne, abolish breakfast, American breakfast, typical Spanish breakfast, etc) and most importantly GORGEOUS POOLS and fabulous gardens. It's an absolute gem with everything you could want in a 5 star hotel. It has lovely interior patio gardens, lush palm trees, it's literally on the beach, plenty of restaurant all around, and you can even do some shopping close by.

Everything was amazing. The location, the views out of the hotel room of the mountains and dunes in the distance. The hotel at night was so aesthetic. The pool facilities were great too. The breakfast was amazing with the amount of choice we had and the staff were very accommodating. Overall 10/10 would come again every December.
