Hotel Brenta is a very clean hotel situated close to the train station of Parma and also 5 minutes walk from the city centre. Room for 2 persons was of a good size and bed was super comfy. Breakfast was also good, nothing to say. I had scrambled eggs, sausages, parma ham cheese....and also some tarts and croissants. Finally the hotel staff was very helpful throughout our short stay, especially the lady at the desk on our arrival which explained us everything to the detail offering us also an excellent capuccino and coffee with milk (maltese style!!) Consequently we felt like at home. Good job and keep it up.

Large modern room with a spacious bathroom. Very clean and nice hotel. We had a large patio too! The breakfast was wonderful, it had so many choices of foods. The location was perfect, a 1 minute walk from the lower level of the train station. Plus, our tour for the cheese-proscuitto-Modena vinegar met outside the front door!
It was walking distance to the Old Town area too

Parma is charming and easy to navigate on foot. It’s a really pretty town with lots to see and do. The food is excellent and the people are lovely. La Forchetta was our favorite dinner and Cocchi and La Greppia our favorite lunches.

The historic centre was readily accessible and lots of restaurants and bars. The apartment was basically ok but cramped (remove bidet and some furniture). Kitchenware, crockery, glassware, was inadequate for 2 people.

Parma is a charming city which is not too big and one can therefore explore most of it on foot. It has historic buildings and fine museums. There are also nice parks and a river. It is a good base to visit its surroundings.

Parma is one of the less touristy Italian destinations.
Parma is one of the less touristy Italian destinations. It has a beautiful medieval historic centre, cathedral, baptistry and piazza, all in an area prohibited to traffic and with very few crowds. Make sure to visit the Pilotta Palace, which houses the National Gallery of Parma. In the gallery you will find the small but exquisite 'La Scapigliata', 'The Lady with Dishevelled Hair', an unfinished oil painting attributed to Leonard da Vinci and sharing the same mysterious beauty as the Mona Lisa. Be sure to sample the local dishes at one of the many restaurants. We had a lovely dinner at Ristorante Gallo d'Oro.
I found the personnel of the Ibis very friendly and helpful. The location is very good as it is very close to the centre (15 minutes walk to Parma Cathedral). You have to enter the ZTL area for a few hundred meters but at the Ibis reception they can write down your car plate number so that you don't need to pay any fine. We did not have breakfast in the hotel, also because we were staying in the second building (near a theatre), however Parma has several nice cafés where you can enjoy italian breakfast and more. Definitely a great choice.
The location is perfect for walking in and out of the centre of lovely Parma. We were met at the house and provided with essential info for the house, but also had immediate responses to small questions that we had about the property. The air conditioning was a bonus as despite traveling in October, Parma was very warm. The house was clean, comfortable and quiet. A persimmon tree with mature fruit in the garden was a real treat. Private parking was available and accessible.
This location is very centrally located. They direct you in the right direction to park in the restricted area. The decor is very cute and my kids loved the play area. The hotel is clean and has a lot of charm. The room was no frills and needs a lil’ update but was very clean. The bed was a bit hatd. The bathroom is cute. My kids loved the deep tub.
For families, there is an elevator for strollers and bringing up luggage. For the value, I would stay again if in Parma.
Quite location at periphery of Parma, good accessible from Autostrada with free parking directly at the hotel. 10 min by car to the center of Parma. Reasonable breakfast, but scrambled eggs already cold even breakfast time has not passed. Comfortable beds and daily cleaning. Unfortunately, outdoor Swimmingpool already closed. Staff not at top of customer awareness. In total, good location at attractive price.
Warm and friendly welcome with great support in the run up to our visit. This is our 5th time staying at Starhotels Du Parc and for sure we will be back! It is just a short walk from the centre of town and the railway station is close by so a perfect location for a trip to Parma. Rooms are beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable as is the whole hotel.
The location was excellent. Easy to find by car and only a short walk from the centre of Parma and some amazing restaurants. We chose to eat out because we wanted to experience the legendary Prosciutto di Parma - we were not disappointed. The hotel staff were excellent and we had no complaints about our room.
unbelievable place to stay - we loved everything about it. very warm & unique interior, amazing bathroom, most comftable bed we had on our entire journay through italy. genius fireplace to enjoy from the couch or the bed. perfect location to explore parma by walking, parking lots 7min walk from the flat away.
We were considering an apartment as were 4 adults a travelling and needed 2 bathrooms but as it was only a one night as a lay over, we got a quad room for but was pleasantly surprised at the size of the room. The hotel like the city of Parma was a pleasant surprise both charming and stylish!
Central location in Parma , the palazzo felt authentic, and the staff went out of their way to be as helpful as possible.the hotel has all the touches of a very expensive five star without the price tag. Excellent value with charming staff and a Michelin star restaurant ! What not to like
A really fantastic clean and modern hotel in the heart of Parma. Step outside your door to shops and cafes. Beautiful room and facilities. The room was large and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. 24hr storage and a comfy waiting area were a great bonus. Wish we stayed for longer.
Best accommodation my husband and I have booked yet on our trip to Italy. Very clean and modern. Large room with a beautiful balcony. Definitely value for money. The location is perfect as well. It's about 4 minutes of walking away from the Parma Cathedral.
Wonderful hotel - modern, comfortable room and bed. Fabulous location - right near train station in very nice neighborhood. Easy to walk back and forth into town. Lovely breakfast and service. Would definitely go there again!
Nice and clean, spacious and fairly quiet too. Highly recommend. The walk to downtown Parma takes a little while but is certainly doable. A bus line runs by just in front of the property.
good sized room and very clean. close to the train station, and good for one night in parma. the checkin was easy, at a nearby hotel with 24h reception (no coordination needed).
