Warm genuine greeting from staff when we arrived after tiresome ferry journey. First room didnt quite suit - very quickly offered an alternative without a hitch. We arrived late but food still available so all good.

We picked to stay at the Woodcote as it was within 1.5 ml from our sons house. This was perfect stop over to enjoy a catch up. We booked a table for 4 at the hotels resturant. The choice from the menu was excellent . The quality of food, first class. To top the evening our waitress was faultless. A real pleasure to interact. The complete evening was so nice.
The full English breakfast was one of the tastiest i have had in a very long time. Cooked to exactly how i asked for. A real treat that a chef listens and does not chuck out whats convenient to them . The small details matter when its your pocket that pays for it. 10 out of 10

The hotel was ideally placed for Cheshire Oaks our main reason for being in that area. The hotel was lovely, very clean and newly refurbished very stylish and modern, the area seemed quiet even though it was quite near main roads, plenty of onsite parking. Nice area to walk around.

Really friendly staff, lovely clean room & a tasty freshly cooked breakfast with nice coffee. I was on the ground floor which was nice too. All if the rooms appear to be almost chalet style which was novel & was almost like staying in a mini street. Decoration & bathroom was perfect, soft carpets & an extremely comfortable bed.

We stayed in one of the little cottage type rooms.
We stayed in one of the little cottage type rooms. It was clean and comfortable. There could of been a little more tea and coffee but if you went to reception then you probably would of been given more. Nice area to stay.

Very friendly and hard working staff who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, excellent food in the restaurant and first class service. The floors in the upstairs rooms are very creaky (and noisy)
This is basic and affordable hotel, and but is an extremely pleasant place to stay. It is just off the motorway, is in a quiet neighbourhood, but has great connections with the Wirral and with Chester, being only a 15 minute walk to Hooten Station. The carpark is spacious and right next to the property, and breakfast was affordable yet adequate. The room and bathroom was clean, well equipped and spacious, and perfectly comfortable albeit basic.
The hotel was an excellent location as we were Christmas shopping and was a very short drive from Cheshire oaks. The restaurant was a surprise bonus as food was amazing so fresh lamb koftas and pavlova were so good and all home made. The rooms were large and surprisingly warm as is a really old building but we're of a very good standard for the price we paid.
very clean room in the cottages at end of car park, very quiet and roomy, lovely shower, comfy bed extra pillows, hotel was very smart and clean, friendly staff, breakfast was very good with good choices of fruit pieces, yoghurts, cereals and cooked options.
just a few minutes off M53 and 20 mins from Liverpool city centre via tunnels, £2 each way.
Beautifully refurbished little hotel within easy access to Chester and Liverpool. Lovely bar area and food was superb at dinner and breakfast. Really friendly staff and a warm welcome was offered. Will defnitely stay again for a short break.
Food was good, rooms were adequate as we booked late, staff were friendly and always willing to help, great service. Car parking free in hotel grounds which is another plus.
