I loved the building and the garden. The renovations that had been done let the light shine in.

Tui was gorgeous, wish I could have stayed longer than one quick night but was meeting up with friends on the Camino and had to move on. So many good restaurants as well and the river walk is lovely! If you're on the Camino, stop at Albergue Ideas Peregrinas for their breakfast. It's a full-service cafe with strong coffee and American breakfasts with the nicest toasted baguettes. They have a store as well attached with Camino provisions - ponchos, poles with rubber tips, hats, shorts, wool socks, all high quality.

Very historic old town.
Very historic old town. It used to be the capital of Galicia. Beautiful cathedral. Location next to Mindo river makes it very special as well. Strolling along the river, with Tui lingering above was a delight.

Tui was bigger than I expected.
Tui was bigger than I expected. It is a very interesting town close to the Portuguese border and has many historical buildings. There are lots of bars to choose from - El Pilar being our favourite. The old cathedral is worth a visit to view the architecture and there are some lovely walks along the riverside.

Small, beautiful medieval town in a lovely location. The cathedral is stunning and if you buy the small audio tour you can climb up to the ramparts for a wonderful view of the city and river looking across to Portugal.

Restaurant/cafes near Albergue Pallanes were not open for food in the evening when local referrals were given but a nearby supermarket was well stocked. The kitchen at the Albergue provided all that was required for meal preparation. Only stayed one night. At the end of a days travel/walking Tui restaurants were a step too far away.

Tui is a great historical location, with enough modern conveniences for most. It is a great centre for touring and is located close to the border with Portugal It is also conveniently located, for walkers, on The Camino Portugues.
An absolute pleasure to stay in this historic property with its beautiful rooms and grounds and to stroll through the streets of Tui.
The hostess helped us find a connecting bus (Vigo to Tui) when all of the buses and trains from Santiago de Compostela were booked and no one at Tourist Info Centre or bus/train stations in Santiago could help.
After a long day on the Camino, it was so nice to arrive, (the hotel/hostel is right on the Camino) have a friendly greeting, and shown a nice big room with access to a large patio. This hotel/hostel is very nice with washing facilities, kitchen facilities, and a large, quiet sculpture garden. Very clean, upgraded, and comfy stay.
We booked this as a night before our Camino walk. The location is excellent, in the heart of the old historic town of Tui. Its close to eating and dinking places and very near the Cathedral.
The accommodation was basic but the location made up for it.
The host provided us all the access information via WhatsApp.
Full of character, spaceous and peaceful - yet in the centre of Tui. Amazing hosts who run this place with genuine care for people. You can buy breakfast, coffe, beer and wine in the hostel. They have washing machine and thumble dryer. You should not miss this one out!
Excellent location. The hotel staff here facilitated us leaving bikes in the hotel which were to be collected by a courier company the next day. They also rang taxis for us when we needed them.
Lovely to have a pool, and the area around it was well maintained.
Excellent property literally next to the historic center of Tui. Close to restaurants, supermarkets and dining area. Hosts were very helpful in providing travel tips and personally waited for is at check-in. Would recommend this place to any traveler.
Their location is directly on the Camino and a few steps away from the Catedral de Tui. Ideas Peregrinas also has a cafe and small shop with pilgrim supplies. The beds are comfortable and the showers hot with great water pressure, Wi-Fi was strong.
This is a 700 year old property with a fascinating history. it is still owned by a family who bought it many years ago and who have now converted it into an Albergue. It was a place of refuge for a day while exploring Tui.
The hotel was lovely, really really comfortable and homely. Perfect for a stopover on the camino. The outside terrace was also great and there are plenty of restaurants a short walk away. Breakfast is self-serve.
Everything about this apartment was superb. Location was steps from restaurants and the medieval old town of Tui. The unit was well supplied and comfortable and Manuel was helpful with suggestions.
Its a simple hotel, good to stay if you are in a rush. But it was somehow very noisy when we slept there.
The breakfast is good for the price, not a luxury one, but you get to eat well anyway.
What we liked about the property is the location which was a short walking distance to one of Santa Columba cafe and the Cathedral of Tui. The staff were above and beyond helpful and considerate.
Jacob’s Hostel in Tui was one of my favorite hostels on the Camino. It was located next to great restaurants, beautiful site seeing, and a grocery store nearby. The hosts were kind and helpful.
Just on the camino path, higher up in Tui, in walking distance of the cathedral and not as touristy as valenca. The garden is lovely and there are plenty of bathrooms to rooms.
This is a well-run, smaller/more intimate hotel than most. The owner was both friendly and informative about what to see and where to go for food and entertainment.
