My Partner and I had a fantastic stay at our totally private villa. It had excellent lighting, WiFi, overhead and hand held shower, sunken bath, private pool, equipped kitchen, dining area, lounge chairs under a shaded umbrella, all doors lock, bath robes and slippers and on and on all inside your own private grounds. Depending on your taste you can decide if you want to stay here or not. If you are in Bali to experience the real Bali culture then the best place to stay will be Ubud. Seminyak is just like any other western country (a slightly cheaper version of it). I did not see much of it since even our driver was not fond of taking us there since he knew our taste is different. We ate at the property we were staying and that restaurant was good. It is easy to get around Seminyak since all things are near to where we stayed. I would still avoid this place for my long stay since this is only suited for staying for a few hours or maybe a day.

It is a bustling area for sure, nice shops, tones of good restaurants and safe, we took day trips, therefore didn’t spend all our time, but the hotel we stayed at was of the best and path, it was an oasis, so it was a perfect stay with a bit of everything

Great shopping. The stall holders are not pushy and there isn't any people pushing you to buy and follow you as they do in Kuta. The beaches are great. Variety of restaurants gives you a great choice.

Seminyak I like very much, a very bustling and busy place. As I have been about 7-8 times before I know the place a little and know what to expect. With lots of good and basic restaurants to eat, all priced vere reasonable. Also plenty of shops from the cheap touristy tot the very classy high end ones with high quality of goods specially the clothes. These also very reasonabley priced. The Mall next to the square is great also and there are many more great shopping malls to visit if you like that. Trafic is mad but you get used to it. I used a bicycle a lot and also gocar, can recommend both. I stayed for 5 weeks, did travel to Ubud to stay with a friend for 2 days. Love the place!

Busy and bustling!
Busy and bustling! People will try to make you buy their products, but are not too pusny. Hiring a Moped or using Gojek is the easiest way to get around. Predominantly good experiences with drivers apart from two. We love sunset at La Plancha. Having a villa in a location close to Seminyak Square is ideal, The Fofge is great for watching NRL and UFC. Great food and fun atmosphere.

The rooms were large and luxurious, and we all agreed that we wanted to take the beds home with us - they were very comfortable. I highly recommend the spa too - the massages were amazing.
