    Property under construction.

    Property under construction. Very unprofessional contractor. Property was trashy, driveway full of nails... inside lobby completely empty and bare, very dusty. Rooms were finished and comfortable. Daughter decided to come and they would not upgrade from to two queens from a king...I had to rent a separate room. Very disappointing.

    We always most generally stay here before a cruise. I think it is not be kept like before. I have always loved staying here close to places to eat an buys supplies we needed. This was kind of depressing. The young man at the desk was very kind and helpful.

    grew up in winnie needs to be updated !! no new businesses and run down buildings need to be torn down, could use more nite spots less cops and that construction under the bridge has continued on for years it seems but is good place to stay to go down to beach away from crazy crowds.also the snacks in the front office where ridiculously over priced considering yall didnt have breakfeast.

    Lobby under construction. Lobby floor in process of being tiled with exposed material that could cut or injure guests. Lobby floor was wet and unsafe. It is highly unlikely that this facility was granted a "Certificate of Occupancy" or passed the inspections required to open to the public. My wife and i decided to seek another hotel, knowing that we risked losing our prepaid reservation. We were able to book the night's stay at a nearby Hampton Hotel and did not stay at the Holiday Inn Express.

    Breakfast was appalling. I ended up going up the road to McDonald's. Hotel is in dire need of maintenance/update. It is obvious the hotel is being run into the ground. After this I would not stay at a La Quinta again. Not a good experience.

    Exceptional. Very clean and helpful and friendly staff. Pet-friendly hotel, which was a relief because I brought my two dogs along! Rooms spacious and very clean-comfy sleep! The beds were very soft. and overall was a very good experience.

    The location was good. Hotel needs a revamp. I was told I was in the nicest room. I can't imagine what the other rooms look like if that was the best. I also passed cat food someone left out which I sure also attracts other pests...

    Breakfast was good. Hotel is being renovated and our room was so nice. The hotel even had that brand new "smell" to it. Fresh paint, carpet, fixtures. I was really impressed with all of it.

    I didn’t like anything about the hotel, property, or room. The only thing positive about my stay here was the check in process and the lady that checked me in. She was nice.

    Hotel is close to exit but no one knows, where is it, GPS locate the hotel under the bridge, I had 3 different types of GPS, they locate the hotel under the bridge.
