Beautiful hotel in great location. Room was excellent and perfectly equipped. I also want to mention the outstanding customer service. Our room clean and replenish was not done. The manager of the property personally came to explain why and was incredibly gracious and kind. We’ve stayed at many hotels across the US and Europe and were very impressed by his customer focus. I would definately recommend this hotel.

This hotel is "past the curve" in many ways! The shower and sink's hot water didn't work well; the floor was dusty like the maid hadn't even vacuumed; they charged for breakfast and everything was ala carte and extremely expensive; they gave us a "complimentary breakfast" of "up to $20" which would basically buy 2 cups of coffee, so we opted to go to McDonalds!

Amarillo has everything you could ask for, good places to stay and alot of good places to eat, shopping and entertainment, we have stayed at the cactus cove inn many times when it was under other names. Seamed to have a lot of road noise when we entered the room, but was very easily ignored by the time we went to bed. No bad smells considering the close proximity to the interstate. Amarillo a very industrial city, but friendly and courteous.

It was not as nice as other Microtels we have stayed in.
It was not as nice as other Microtels we have stayed in. Just dated and the desk top was not cleaned by the staff. That was disappointing, every surface should be cleaned. The pool is not inviting, and was kinda cold.

This little town has grown so much, and it is obvious that the leaders are working to make it even better. Getting around was easy, but I tried to avoid the interstates. Anything I needed was a short distance from downtown and easily accessed. I only attended the horseshow at the fairgrounds, but the nightlife downtown was booming.
My Place has everything we need to relax after a long drive; and this hotel is a perfect location for a through travel stay. It was directly behind Saltgrass restaurant as well as other nice places to walk to and eat.
Front desk staff, Susan, was friendly and informed us of the amenities as well as future stays; checkout was easy with a very nice young man. This would be our choice to stay in when in Amarillo TX. We love my Place hotels!
The beds were so comfortable and Joe at the front desk was amazing. I think he was doing 10 things at once but truly a customer service pro. We were in the car 10 hours with our small kids, and Joe was able to get us into our room 45 minutes early. We were so exhausted and he seriously made our whole trip! The pool was wonderful, food choices around the hotel ideal, and zero noise at night. We will always stay here when in Amarillo!
Location was perfect . We were traveling through Amarillo and it was convenient to fuel, good restaurant choices, rooms were large, beds were better than average, good water pressure, indoor pool was a nice addition. Very nice that it was pet friendly ( with a small fee) and they had several doors to access the outside, offered clean up bags and the facility did not smell of animals …so good job management.
I absolutely LOVED staying here at Cactus Cove! I was on the hotel search there in town and saw that this was a different hotel than just a normal chain and so I had to try it out! I absolutely loved this place, the front desk staff was amazing, breakfast and breakfast attendant was absolutely amazing, room was stunning and facilities were all very nice for an incredible price! 50/10 recommend, seriously.
This hotel is located away from any decent places to eat, burgers are the local staple, after spending the day in the car travelling it would have been good to eat locally, not even a place to get a beer near by.
The place is well used and breakfast hot choice was something pre porting to be scrambled eggs!
Defiantly made a mistake choosing this hotel.
It was a clean, well appointed room for the price range. The whole hotel stood out due to the fun, quirky themed decor.
It was terrific to park at the door allowing for ease of unpacking the luggage.
The steakhouse attached to the restaurant was a highlight of. Fantastic food, atmosphere, service and festive Christmas decorations.
Booking should have given that room free for two reasons because I have made a reservation in a hotel that no longer works (Rest inn Amarillo I-40) I lost my time arriving there after a trip of 11 hours and also because of a misleading offer because in the Extend a Suite Amarillo West did not give breakfast.
The power went off at 1:00 am , and there is no one to even fix it. In hot summer night as you could imagine, every one was shouting outside and make noise. No body from hotel came to even address or fix it.
Pathetic, until 7:00 am it was sweety and bad smell.
We really liked the new and modern facilities and the location, near restaurants and shopping in NW Amarillo. Easy in and out when traveling between Colorado, New Mexico and Texas. We will likely stay at this hotel again.
The location was good but Amarillo is doing a lot of construction, diverting traffic so it was a little conjested trying to get out of the hotel. The staff was amazing. Jessica was friendly and very helpful.
We liked the apartment. The neighbourhoood was quiet, the communication with the owners was problem-free and friendly. If you need a plaxe to stay in Amarillo, we definitely recommend this place.
close to hwy. the on site restaurant was wonderful. great food and friendly staff!
the hotel staff Zack at front desk was the best!
Pet friendly “grass” potty area that they kept well clean.
It is an "airport hotel" but does not have a shuttle service. A good average hotel, nothing special, therefore relatively expensive for the service offered as an "airport hotel".
The staff was amazing. The hotel was an amazing value and right off the freeway. The breakfast was simple but excellent. Overall a diamond in the rough! So happy with our stay
Another excellent IHG hotel - welcoming check-in staff, quiet room on the first floor, good facilities including a microwave; comfortable bed, clean room, convenient parking.
The staff was very kind and the hotel was easy to find. the decor was cute and the pet friendly rooms were still very clean. I got in bed late and they were still great!
