The breakfast was as expected in that they had the cinnamon rolls we have come to enjoy. The other offerings were hot and fresh. The only drawback was the lack of bagels.

The over all stay was great. Stayed at this location 7 or 8 times. People are nice. Amy issues I had was taken care of for the most part. The breakfast was pretty good as well. Super friendly workers all around.

There are several hotel options in Clarion PA just off Route...
There are several hotel options in Clarion PA just off Route 80, and it is a popular stopping point in Western PA. I have stayed in a few hotels here. Microtel Clarion is, I think, the best option for budget travelers. It is a fairly new property - maybe 6 or 7 years old. It is modern looking, in great shape, clean, quiet, comfortable, well designed, with free breakfast and 24 hour free coffee bar. The price is good. I have stayed there 3 times in the last 4 years - once alone, one with my wife, once with the two of us and our pet dog. It has been a good experience each time.

I was in and out. Got in late. No nearby facilities to eat, but that was ok for me. Basic comfort which was what I needed. Very clean. Front desk staff were pleasant. Outside area was nice for breakfast.

I lived in Clarion for many years, and just returned after a 20 year absence. Its a lovely small town surrounded by rivers, forests, and a genuinely homey community. I particularly appreciated brunch at the County Seat and great antique finds at the Fulmer House. I didn't have time for a trip to Cook Forest, but hope to return there someday

This is an acceptable stay at best but if you are expecting it to be top notch, it is not. However, for the price and it having an indoor pool, this is a deal. The downfall to this though pool towels were nowhere to be found, no one at all in the hotel to monitor or check up on towels or the area, not that I seen anyway. Pool was decent but again not great. They do have a mini golf section and a pool table in the swimming area.
