The historical building and the furniture in the suite. The king suite is spacious and feels like an apartment with 3-side views from the windows. The bed was super comfy and large. The room and the bathroom were meticulously clean. The location of the hotel is great, it's close to a lot of restaurants, bars and other entertainment.

My fave stay in BC, charming quaint family run style motel.
Rooms are amazing, spotless, comfy, quaint n amazing attention to detail, lovely lil fridge n microwave which is very useful.
Previous cafe out front has now closed but other food options nearby, my faves being a & w, boulder City brewing and Cornish pasty.

Good value and perfectly decent place to stay, not far from Vegas. The area is a relatively calm, a bit more industrial/shopping area, not residential.

Downtown Boulder City seemed inviting and cute.
Downtown Boulder City seemed inviting and cute. Unfortunately, we had such a busy rehearsal schedule that we did not have time to explore! We will go back, and plan some exploration time - but we will not stay at El Rancho Boulder Motel.

No coffee pot in room, no dresser for clothes, refrigerator...
No coffee pot in room, no dresser for clothes, refrigerator froze solid my bottle of water. $50 deposit for each night I stayed - several days to get back. Only general store for food. I would not stay here again.

A lovely little town with charm.
A lovely little town with charm. It was clean, super easy to navigate and so very safe. It was a perfect location for things we wanted to do: see Hoover Dam, check out Lake Mead and do some hiking. This is a perfect city for a weekend get away. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Interesting small town.
Interesting small town. Plenty of amenties and different dining choices for such a small town. Would like to go again with my wife and spend a weekend! Had an easy time getting a place to eat and was well taken care of by all of the restaruants I visited. Definitely enjoyed the atmosphere and the hospitality all around! Oh yes, if you stay in town there is really no need to drive around. Easily walkable and nice wide sidewalks to get around.

The shopping was very fun.
The shopping was very fun. Dining was amazing, especially Milo's and BrewPub - loved the atmosphere and the food and drinks! Driving to Lake Mead and exploring off-road was so much fun! The amount of beautiful scenery is not lacking.
Everything was excellent and the motel rooms have been professionally refurbed and are light and bright and lovely. We have been travelling 3 weeks and this is by far the best. And originally booked 2 rooms for 1 night and are now staying 3 in the historic are of Boulder City with lovely bars and restaurants all within walking distance. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Easy to visit Hoover Dam, Lake Mead and Las Vegas. So clean and refreshing and a quiet location. Am sure this will go down as the best motel on this 5 week trip.
The young lady at the front desk was so sweet! This town, Boulder City, is a cute, hip little town. Everything looks retro right out of the 60's. The room was very clean. Breakfast was free at the diner right across the street. They had a special "hotel breakfast" menu for the hotel guests. It was delicious. It was towards the end of our 15 day western adventure, so we had to do laundry. Laundry room was clean and machines worked great.
A proper hotel with bags of old-fashioned charm and splendid location in the idyllic and characterful historic corner of Boulder City, with Hoover Dam and Lake Mead on the doorstep. Our King Suite was elegance personified and great value - the bathroom alone was as big as some motel rooms where we’ve stayed! Two huge TVs to watch the NHL playoffs and a useful kitchenette with breakfast bar we’re the icing on the cake.
El Rancho is ideally located in the centre of Boulder City, clean, friendly staff, safe and secure. Good value. If you are in the area Boulder City is a must visit, great free museum, the town is steeped in history, with its quaint buildings, bars, restaurants and antique shops. Non gambling town. Amazing street art too.
great location for hoover dam and Grand Canyon, nice pool, big room two king beds, big bathroom, nice as lots going on downstairs, shops, casino restaurant bar lots of people around so felt safe , arrived 11am room was ready even though check in at 4pm vg, close to boulder city lots of restaurants , big car park
We loved the town of Boulder City, the hotel was very cool, loved the Museum within it. Since tours of the Hoover Dam were not taking place the Museum was awesome to see and gave us more info about the Dam we missed on a tour. Very cool shops within walking distance and it is about 30-40mins from Las Vegas!
This is a nice hotel in the middle of Boulder City. Restaurants and breweries are a short walking distance. Safe place to walk. Friendly people. Hotel rooms are small and cozy. Not all have refrigerators. Morning coffee is down the hall. Bar and music (weekend music only) in bar downstairs.
amazing hotel in lovely location, didn’t know anything about Boulder City so only spent one night, wish it was longer to explore . lovely bar and staff. restaurant was closed when we stayed but lots of choice to eat out
this is a nice little casino near the Hoover dam. we always stay here the night before our river adventure. The smoke from the casino is annoying, I could only stay in there like 15 min
