The staff was very nice. The carpet was disgusting, the smell in the room was horrible, AC didn’t work well, the room felt sticky. The beds were comfortable.

Hotelwas great- I gave it a lower rating because it was super noisy at night. The walls are very thin - and we spent the entire evening until about 4am listening to the loud party music from another guest.

Comfortable bed, clean, close to my work. Great service,
many things to see and do. Historical trips of the Civil War era everywhere and some religious sites like the fatima grotto rosary walk where it arranged in a circle with meditative stops along a garden path

The pool was closed.
The pool was closed. There was construction right outside our window and was woke up at 7:00am. Didn't oder us a different room. Safe was broke. Front desk didn't know how to fix it. When asked if there was AC in room, the front desk said, " think so". Mold in bathroom. We left 2 days early.

We went to a military swap meet at the airbase and only stayed one night at the hotel. We would have liked to stay atleast 2 to 3 nights but had another engagement. The swap meet was great, my husband restores military HMMWV'S so we were on a mission to get parts. It would have been nice to wander around more, next time!

Hagerstown is a great place to stay when visiting Antietam battlefield. Additionally, it has great facilities for doing laundry and stocking up on items depleted during an extended trip. The choice of restaurants is excellent as well.

Ate at a great, local restaurant downtown.
Ate at a great, local restaurant downtown. Just stayed the night in town as we were coming from Harpers Ferry and were going to see Antietam National Battlefield the next day. I wish I'd taken the time to explore downtown Hagerstown. The architecture was really cool!

An old town with a lot of character and history dating back to the 18th century. The downtown area a a thriving A & E district with lots of unique dining and drinking available. It is the county seat of Washington County, yes that Washington and home to a particularly delicious local food staple that can only be found in this area. You'll have to experience this for yourself. The locals call it a "steamer". Just one of many delightful surprises to behold in Hagerstown.
This is my third trip to the Hagerstown area and the 3rd time I ended up at this Travelodge due to disastrous accommodations booked elsewhere. It is always clean. I can smell just a hint bleach in the linens and the towels. I like that they have no carpet in the rooms, so I don't have to worry about allergens trapped in the rugs. They have a decent size refrigerator and microwave. The beds are firm, but comfortable. The staff is friendly and polite.
Location close to 81. Room clean and quiet. Close to food and gas. Loved the shower stalls. Staff was accommodating. I asked about staying back at this hotel on our return trip and was told to call from the road, give the information that we had stayed on Sunday. 7/31, and our information would be pulled up to confirm the reservation. That's a plus when one is traveling unknown roads.
We usually stay at a different local hotel, but have now stayed at the Hampton Inn twice. It has a nice assortment of breakfast options, clean rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, spacious bathrooms, a coffee/tea/hot chocolate station, and friendly and helpful staff. My husband now says he prefers the Hampton Inn as our primary layover choice when driving up the east coast.
Not much to like. We unknowingly arrived at Hagerstown in the middle of a major trade show and our hotel of choice had “lost” our reservation. This was the only accommodation we could find late in the day. The entrance to my room was within a main floor exit vestibule where constant noise of traffic through that door and people loitering outside was an annoyance.
The location is excellent, and my room is always clean....always clean. My neighbors are very loud late at night. That is my only area of distress. The staff is always so polite and easy to respond to. It is so appreciated. It is one of the reasons I continue to stay here. I am on a travel assignment and this motel works for me.
The hotel was dirty, Cigarette butts everywhere despite the fact that there should not be any smoking at all.
The elevators smelled from the smoke. The ice vending machines did not work. The room was very pleasant and comfortable but getting from my car to my room was not pleasant. The hotel is old and needs a good cleaning.
Good convenient location. Bed was very comfortable and room was clean. Stayed on the 6th floor. We were able to walk to and from the hotel to Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner. Outback Steakhouse is also within walking distance. BJs Brewhouse and others are also closeby and can walk to it, across the highway if you wanted.
Felt like home. But then I was born and raised across the Dual Highway on Howell Road. And I mowed the lawn for Mr. Moore when it was the Towne Motel in the 50's. That structure was demolished and replaced with the current structure. Mostly farmland at that time.
The hotel lobby’s appearance and its staff were very welcoming. I usually try to stay at the Hampton Inn just up the road, but not anymore! I’ll be coming back to this Comfort Suites! Comfy beds, clean rooms, best price!
The staff was friendly and efficient. The hotel in general was clean and well maintained. Our room was spacious and very clean. Great location, would recommend and will stay there next time we are in Hagerstown.
Grand hotel; room was excellent. Great value. I have paid $200 per night for less value.
Gracious and professional staff. Went out of their way to insure satisfaction and delight in this encounter.
