We will definitely be returning to Annapolis! We came primarily for the Osteria 177 dining experience and it did not disappoint! Phenomenal dining atmosphere, service, and food. We walked around main street, saw the historic houses, and went in to a few of the shops. One of the things we did NOT get to experience was the John Paul Jones crypt, but that will be a focal point in the future. Very easy drive, safe colorful town with lots of history, art, and culture. Great place to visit any time of year!

I'm not sure how the city managed it(zoning like crazy), but they've been able to maintain the center of the old part of the city such that all buildings are the original historical brick buildings built in the 1700 and 1800's.
Everything is kept clean and nice. A plethora of restaurants, pubs, and bars. More than enough options for food and drink.
The Naval Academy is just to the North East, and you should plan on spending at least one day there for the museum, and another day for exploring the Academy grounds.
The Inn we stayed at only had valet parking, but everything we cared to explore was easily within walking distance, so no need for a car anyways.
If I had the chance, we would go there again. With only two days, we certainly didn't have enough time for sufficient exploration. Plan on 4-5 days, at least.

I attended the Annapolis Sailboat Show.
I attended the Annapolis Sailboat Show. The show itself can eat up the entire time it is on for, as it is such a large show. I found that I didn't get to see much of Annapolis. It is also so close to Baltimore and DC that i could have spent an entire week there over and above what i stayed.

Sad that Chick and Ruth's Diner has dropped the Morning pledge.
always a big draw for us. Just too bad that this great tradition was dropped. Signs of the times I guess. Will look for other options in the future.
Fleet Reserve is a must. That place goes out of their way to make you feel welcome.
Make sure to spend a day at the Navel Academy. Pride in America is found at this campus.

We went for my husband's 50th USNA reunion. We used the purple van..it was great..as most of our functions were at the Westin.
If I saw correctly...in my rating you tallied a 4.0 rating...NOT correct! More like a 2.0.

The old downtown core is full of friendly peeps, tasty eats and of course the Naval Academy! It’s a very walkable town. In fact I would highly recommend walking as the parking is tough. It’s an old-old navy town so the streets are meant for walking and carriages with horses… thus not a lot of car parking. 11 out of 10 would recommend visiting Annapolis again and again!!
The outside and entrance to the hotel is less inviting as the hotel check in is done at the restaurant bar. The room was very nice, bright, clean and one could not hear any noise from the downstairs restaurant. The bathroom was clean of good size. Towels were changed every day. The best is indeed the location: Right in the center of downtown Annapolis with all the shopping and dining options. I would come back any time. They offer discounted parking in the near by parking garage.
Everyone here was so helpful and cheerful. We had the sense that it must be a great place to work - if rather manic at times as it is so popular!
The room was clean and comfortable, the shower antique but functional. A small room but all we needed. Location was perfect - right on the Main Street, 5 minute walk from everywhere.
And the food! Wow! So much choice and so tasty! I need the recipe for those Delly potatoes!
The location of Flag House Inn was fantastic - easy access to USNA and downtown Annapolis without being on a noisy, busy street. Our hosts were super friendly and let us park a little early. We had a room with a twin bed for our daughter and a king bed in a separate room for us - lots of space to spread out and it was nice to not be cramped. The best part was the breakfast - really amazing!
Excellent location. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Pet friendly even in the lobby which is nice. I’m sure if the dog was barking or otherwise drawing attention to itself, perhaps they wouldn’t be welcome. It’s nice when dogs are judged on an individual basis. Room was comfortable and the hotel was very clean.
Bed, comforter and pillows were awesome! Air Conditioner ran as we wanted it to and did not shut off! We had the room at the temperature we wanted it! Humidifier took all the humidity out of the room. The water in the shower was hot! Location was just what we wanted! Downtown Annapolis is really fun!
The hotel was very nice. Rooms were very clean and beds comfy. The location was great. Could walk anywhere. The shops are really nice. The whole town of Annapolis was my favorite place to be. Reminded me of Ireland/England. Everyone was super friendly. Will definitely be back to this town and hotel.
Check in was quick and easy. Extremely convenient location — nearby plenty of grocery stores and restaurants; 12 min from the beach and 10 min from a really nice pool area. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Nautical theme of hotel is nice.
Everyone was very friendly. Great location and parking was great! Walkable distance to downtown and they had a list of restaurants nearby and indicated which ones would require a car to get to! Awesome rooms as well!
Everything was great. The hotel team was nice and friendly. The girl on the reception helped us with some restaurant tips and was very nice with us, as we were on a honeymoon trip.
Nice hotel, Comfortable big bed in a good sized room, good pillows, comforter. Rooms facing towards the back are quiet. Good pool with loungers and terrace.
Free parking is great.
The location and price were great for this hotel. It was clean, comfortable and in walking distance to many locations. Stay here if you don't want/need to stay by the water.
The hotel is a kind of American motel located in the outskirts of Annapolis. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and there are assigned parking spots in front of each room.
