I was in DC with my Family for our Son grad. It Started with a bit of an issue. Afterwards I have seen a supremacy in customer service like never before that you would not see similar standards in nowadays hotel industry. The Hotel GM Mr. Dewayne Wright himself intervened to ensure my experience at Riggs Is unmatchable and he succeeded on this along with his Team. You would notice a niche service from the moment you drop your car until you leave.
Mr. Wright and Riggs Team,
You have given us an unforgettable time and definatly Riggs will be our always destination at DC. Thank you from all of us

Boasting many national treasures, Washington DC is the US capital and home to the world’s most iconic presidential building – The White House. Most visitors start at the National Mall, a huge park stretching from the Potomac River to the Capitol Building. It also encompasses the Washington Monument obelisk and the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, of particular significance in US civil rights, commemorated by the latest addition - the Martin Luther King Memorial.
Also here are 11 of the city’s 17 incredible Smithsonian museums, including the unmissable National Museum of American History.
If all this gets too much, wander around Georgetown’s Colonial buildings and take a break in one of the student cafés. Many world cuisines are represented in Washington DC and the city also has its fair share of live music venues, with a surprisingly good jazz scene. The National Symphony Orchestra is based here and the Kennedy Center hosts a range of productions.
DC’s planning policy means there are no skyscrapers, so if you fly into Washingon Dulles Airport over the city, you see its white buildings standing proud. The city is also served by Baltimore-Washington Thurgood Marshall Airport and Washington National Airport. All are quite a way out, so leave plenty of time to get there from your hotel, apartment or guest house booked through Booking.com.

Washington DC is great but don’t stay at Embassy Suite...
Washington DC is great but don’t stay at Embassy Suite district by Hilton hotel .. you are paying luxury taxes but the hotel is not a luxury resort!! Another way of nickel and diming your money out of your pocket..rooms are never ready before 4pm and the lineup for check in was like one I haven’t seen except in their Miami Hilton hotel ( stayed there about 4 yrs ago.Luxury taxes on your bill then you have to go into their gift shop or restaurant/bar to use those $25.00 add on of Luxury taxes so criminal.. hotel is dated bathroom they upgrade the carpets in the rooms and lobby and a new lobby bar but the complimentary breakfast and drinks 🥲 loop warm hot meals dishes are kept below the counter ( who’s does that in a luxury hotel) knives and forks are placed in open containers for all dirty hands to touch and put back toaster old and slow you can put your toast in and take the elevator to your room take a shower and be back in time to hear it pop up..the staff picking up the dishes from the table are very friendly and always say good morning the chef cooking the breakfast o let does better when they see you drop a few dollars in their tip bottle.. Elevators run one at a time push the button and only one comes down or up Never two .. the man outside helping guest with instructions and their car works really hard always busy and kind to guest.. one more thing the small refrigerator (mini) need to be replaced items stay warm my insulin was colder in my personal ice cold container than putting it in that mini refrigerator Not a luxury hotel!! Can’t locate where is the ice no sign to tell u and you definitely need a like next to the hall phone to call the front desk can’t see the number to call about the door card not opening the door..

The Smithsonian museums were really nice!
The Smithsonian museums were really nice! We were first-time visitors and noticed arriving a bit after your booked ticket time will ensure a quick entry into the museums. The National Mall is a must and just walking around town and surrounding areas was beautiful. We walked everywhere, which can be far but there are metro busses, bicycles, and scooters to rent, so walking is not the only way to get around.

We enjoyed traveling to DC in May.
We enjoyed traveling to DC in May. It was not too hot or too cold. Be ready for quick weather changes, though. We loved the easy access to transportation, we used the Smartrip app on our phones for everything. Easy! For people used to public transportation, it was a user friendly system to navigate. Our favorite spots were, walking the National Mall in the morning, and going to as many Smithsonian museums as possible over the course of a week, without getting too wiped out. The Library of Congress was a fantastic spot. Tip: Be patient with all the security...and expect it everywhere. Travel with small bags, large ones are not welcome in most places there.

Easy to use the Metro.
Easy to use the Metro. Good museums but some were very 'techie'. Be prepared to be re-routed by security around the White House. Public restroom at Washington Monument was disgusting facility & degrading to use as doors were hanging off. Its a working city and not geared up for visitors. Expensive to eat. An under welming experience rather disappointed.
A lovely hotel set in the beautiful grounds of Gallaudet University campus. If required, all the staff can use sign language and are exceptional friendly. In particular, we must thank Paula, the deputy manager, for her hospitality. The hotel is a 2 mile flat walk through a nice residential area to Capitol Hill and the Smithsonian Museums, so perfect for a visit to see Washington.
Wonderful location near Dupont Circle. Excellent access to the metro (2 minute walk/just around the corner). Did not require a car to get around DC, which is a plus. Clean rooms, great staff. Enjoyed my stay. My room had a great view of the street (instead of another side of the hotel), which was wonderful. Would book again. Thank you.
2500 Penn is a well positioned hotel, in a calm area not far from the heart of Washington. Rooms are big (one bedroom and one living room with the possibility of a sofa-bed) and the staff is ready to help you. 24 hours check-in it's a plus for late arrivals at the airport, and the possibility of self check via mobile helps to save time
Location was excellent for exploring Washington DC and the Wharf. A very busy hotel with breakfast staff having difficulty to cope. More like a travel lodge/premier inn than a quality hotel.
However, room was fine re size and furnishings etc. bit let down by housekeeping not cleaning room until 1700hrs and not very thoroughly.
Great location, near metro and buses, walking to the White House.the room is clean and comfortable. Coffee and tea available all day, the lounge room is spacious and functional. Good value for money. Stayed in the same hotel in Boston, very happy with it, so changed to club quarters hotel in Washington DC, very happy as well.
honestly super great hotel and had a bunch of restaurants nearby but none of the main attractions, which we didn’t want anyways. we could have found a cheaper hotel though, it was nice but so are a lot of places for less money and we got the king deluxe or something like that.
The hotel is old, but clean and maintained. Fridges in the basement and the first floor allow for food storing. The location is off the center (bus services are unreliable, but cheap walking works too), but the area itself is really nice. Very good restaurants in the area.
This is a self-service check in hotel, so use a code to enter. No thrills, not reception at hotel, but easy to do and very efficient. Appartement was well organized and with small kitchen and spacious. Great value for money, in the centre of Washington DC,
the location is amazing. just Uber yo your destination is cheap and easy. wonderful food. good breakfast.
the hotel is modern and the rooms are beautiful. the manager was amazing and the kind clerk who helped us down to the street to get a Uber.
This was the cheapest option to stay in central Washington DC. It was nice to to meat and discuss with local people. There is a metro and citybike station very close. The neighbourhood feels safe except for the street of the hostel itself.
beautiful hotel in the best location in Washington between two metro station the room is gorgeous and big wonderful breakfast opportunities in the hotel and just across the street, excellent gourmet restaurant in the era great stuff
Nice neighbourhood. Clean overall. They provide lockers. There is AC. Big bathrooms. Helpful and reactive staff. Very cheap for Washington. Guests and staff feel relaxed. This reminded me of Autralian backpackers.
Near metro, good eating places nearby, pool, gym and laundry. Laundry is $3 per load, per dryer, per detergent so about $9! You can buy you own detergent, which is what we did as we had many loads.
Price - twice cheaper than other hotels in downtown. Decent room size and amenities.
Very helpful and professional front desk staff & cleaners.
