This is a really charming place to spend a weekend. The building is historic and a main landmark in the town. Essex is really cute. The room we got was small but very cute, also very clean and charming. The people in the reception were lovely.

The lady at the front desk is so sweet and makes everything very simple to check in. The location is very easy to access right off the highway. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable to sleep in.

The two young ladies that tried to take care of me were very nice. They did not have what they needed to do a good job. The pillows were comfortable.

Great value for money motel. Clean, convenient and friendly reception. Stayed here with my parents for two nights visiting friends in the area. Well placed between Old Saybrook and Old Lyme. Bed was super comfortable.
