Possibly the nicest downtown I've ever seen. Plenty of park benches and focal points. Only problem is that most stores do not open until 10am and close at 5pm. Grand Junction, CO is so beautiful!
Grand Junction, CO is so beautiful! The surrounding mountains are awesome! The Colorado National Monument is an easy drive and WORTH it! The locals are very friendly and so helpful! This is a destination everyone should experience at least once! Don't forget to see Palisade which is 10 miles up I-70. They have the BEST peaches (June-August) I have EVER tasted!!! Pesche Restaurant is a must!

I only stayed at the quality inn for 6 days but I was in grand junction for a month .. I love it .. McCalister’s Deli is great and so is The Dream Cafe on Main Street .. the owner is very nice .. traffic is at a minimum compared to Los Angeles .. it’s so easy to get around Jumction .. Easy to find- looks like booking.com photos. Spacious, comfy bed. Enjoyed coffee at the table under the front yard tree. Country setting - goats in pasture were adorable. Close to town with plenty of restaurants.

Cheap room, especially for a Friday night (again, in the off season). Location is good, just off the freeway, five minutes drive to downtown, Main Street, with a bookstore and good bagel places, and good restaurants. But I'd rec Thai Number 9 as the best restaurant in town.
