Staff was friendly and the room was extremely clean.
Solvang is pretty and green in the spring. The summer will be hot and dry! Even in March, many tourists were in town. The unfortunate side effect is that some local restaurant staff could be a LOT nicer.
Vin & Mad has an incredible dinner for us! I recommend this restaurant but be prepared for stairs and an uphill if you are traveling with someone that may have limited mobility.
Breakfast can be challenging, long waits even in the off season.
Parking can be a challenge for those with mobility issues as well.

Cute little Central Cal town where studio writers for LA go...
Cute little Central Cal town where studio writers for LA go on retreats, and throngs of tourists visit the O.G. Danish-looking town. The architecture is different than anything in CA, and there is a labyrinth of shops and restaurants to explore. So many great options peppered with wine tasting and beautiful vistas nearby. Dolce Café has amazing coffee and a unique menu of baklava, breakfasts, sandwiches and ice cream. Peasant's Feast came recommended by Michelin and went above and beyond. The Coyote Creek Inn serves as a wonderful wedding venue. But mostly, getting lost in the alleyways around town is always so much fun!
Solvang is a great stop between LA and San Luis Obispo. Two nights in perfect, three if you wanna move more slowly.

Fantastic, quaint little town in beautiful countryside.
Fantastic, quaint little town in beautiful countryside. Every single person we met in town was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The town itself is extremely pet friendly and tourists everywhere has their dogs with them.
The hotel has a nice lobby that serves cold water with lemon, cucumber or orange and pineapple. The hotel overall is very clean and the rooms and bathroom are spacious with a couch, desk area and double sinks in the bathroom with a beautiful view of the mountains. The location is great and there’s plenty of parking. The staff were polite and provided us with good recommendations of where to eat in town. Everything is pretty much within walking distance from the hotel. I would stay here again!
This place is real gem in Solvang. Located short walking distance to downtown yet located in the quiet area, which really fulfill what we need. Added they give little touch by providing complimentary cookie dog and meal bowl amenity for our Goldie that I personally think very thoughtful.
The breakfast is quite decent with some good amount of varieties.
Central location, fenced swimming pool area, a "coffee station" in the room that was slightly separate from the rest of the room. The hotel gave me a kettle on request. Breakfast is provided in a bag at your door at your chosen time, and you are asked at check in to confirm what you want in the bag so it's customised for you (from a list of items).
I liked the fact that the pool area had games included. It was pleasant to get breakfast delivered to our door every morning. And we liked how central the hotel was.I've been to Solvang many times and stayed at King Frederick and this is so much nicer! The rooms have more space and it feels cleaner and more airy.
This is such a cute Danish inspired hotel, with separate room entrances, felt like a cottage stay. The breakfast was a good spread, with eggs and sausage, and I'm grateful for a water dispenser for our water bottles. Nice that there's a parking lot. We liked the decor, and the common areas were very welcoming.
The room was very clean and spotless. I absolutely love the no-contact check in method. There was no need to go to the office to check in and check out, and the key for the room was already ready for me before I reached the hotel. I love how it is such an easy walking distance for just about anywhere in town.
Location was excellent (right in downtown Solvang) - could walk everywhere! Really close drive to Los Olivos and a few hiking spots which we loved. Super clean. Loved being able to sit outside on the deck.
The location right in the center of Solvang is really great - you can easily take a walk around and experience the unique Danish style of buildings. The staff was very nice and the hotel was clean.
The best part of the hotel was the location. It was within walking distance of all the major places to see, dine, and shop in while Solvang. Room size was fine and Wi-Fi was reliable.
🏰Hotel Corque met my expectations.
My sister truly enjoyed ours stay. We will be returning again to this comfortable hotel & plush hotel.
Solvang is a "Hidden Gem"... 💎
The M Solvang is in an awesome location. You can easily walk downtown. The gardens and flowers surrounding the buildings were beautiful! Towels were great!
