We love the desert. The restaurants are outstanding and everyone is very kind. And overall streets, sidewalks very clean. No place on earth like the desert. We love to eat at Armando's, The Daily Grill, the Grill in Old Town La Quinta. The Illegals and the homeless that’s for sure

We stayed in Palm Desert because we were going to the Powertrip music festival - which was amazing! We did manage to do the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway and also visit the Palm Springs Air Museum - both of which we'd highly recommend visiting. There are lots of restaurants and food chain outlets so more than enough choice to eat out. We liked the California Pizza Kitchen for it's pizzas and reasonable prices. Next time we'd certainly stay longer in the area and see more of the amazing natural sights like the Joshua Tree National Park and also the Salton Sea.

It was the first very hot weekend in June and it might have been too much heat for my grandkids. Thank goodness for the pool and the Aquatic Center. The Living Zoo was an amazing experience, however, it must be seen as soon as it opens.
I will definitely go back to Palm Desert and stay at the Residence Inn, it was a lovely get-a-away from our coastal fog!

Very nice room with super comfortable bed, and a spacious balcony facing the snow-capped mountains. Close to the pool, where the take-out food was good. (It was too cold to swim) I was in Palm Springs for a concert at Acrisure Arena and the drive was very quick. I have stayed in all of the other Marriott Properties in the area over the years and this one was particularly clean, convenient, and the staff was helpful. The only downside-- there wasn't a lot of parking close to my unit but the short walk was fine.

The accommodations you stay in makes the trip even more...
The accommodations you stay in makes the trip even more worthwhile. Palm Desert has everything you need. Manuel was great---answered the phone when I had a question. This place was rated at 3 out of 5 stars. It is easily a 4-5 star place depending on your current style of living--We had a great time-----
We really loved this home away from home. Kim's the perfect host and the only minus was the fact that we only had three days. We could have stayed much longer! Casa Larrea Inn is situated conveniently close to shops and restaurants and it is a nice starting point if you wish to explore the area. Breakfast was good and plenty (we really loved the fresh fruit salad) and next time we'll make sure to book a longer stay, so we'll have time to relax at the cozy pool area :) Kim's place is a real gem which we can only recommend!
We chose this place for some rest and relaxation towards the end of our California road trip and it didn’t disappoint. The house is spacious, nicely furnished and extremely well equipped with everything we needed. The whole gated country club development is peaceful, refined and immaculately maintained with manicured lawns and numerous swimming pools. Good supermarket five minutes drive away for all provisions. Communication from Emily, our contact on site, was excellent and we had a great stay in Palm Desert.
The Casa Larrea Inn is within easy walking distance of the main shopping street in Palm Desert. Our room furnishings were a bit dated, however, everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable and the small kitchen was a nice benefit. The owner, Kim, is very friendly and helpful. The value for money is excellent. There is a nice pool and lounging area just outside the door of the rooms and this creates a nice atmosphere.
This is one of the best hotels in town & surrounding. Very clean , the pools is amazing . The staff are so helpful , great people.i spent one week and was sad leaving . The Continental breakfast is incredible, fresh , and made to order . I had the most relaxing , I will definitely return & advise all my friends and family not to go anywhere else but Best Western Plus Palm Desert !!
Awesome place, awesome people ♥️
The desk staff was great, check-in was super easy. The location was about a half mile from I-10 and very convenient to Palm Desert and to Palm Springs via city streets. Rooms were quiet and sound insulated except for the adjacent rooms' doors slamming and the occasional rude guests' loud voices in the hall. Many restaurants and other shops were located nearby. Several university campuses were within half a mile.
The room was nice, and the patio was nice with the view of the golf course. Tha people who own these places were no friendly, the made us feel like outsiders not even a helo at the pool. In the evening there were fighting a yelling sounded like the real housewives of Palm Desert. The staff came to our door at 10 pm yelling about noise, we were shocked that they couldn't locate the yelling two or three doors down.
The unit had plenty of room, very comfortable beds, great linens, all of the kitchen items you’d need and then some, as well as a very nice outdoor space with bbq, fire pit, awnings to block the Sun. It’s pet friendly. The pool is only 75 steps away and was very quiet even on what was a very busy weekend in Palm Desert. Will definitely stay again!
We had a quick stay at this wonderful property in a lovely quaint Palm Desert community. We were provided with everything you could think of from clean fresh linens to a lovely cup of coffee first thing in the morning patio side overlooking the lush green grounds. If you’re at all hesitant in booking, don’t be. You won’t regret it.
This little hotel is a hidden gem! Though definitely dated, it was nicely renovated, spotless, and very comfy. Our room was huge! Two queen beds, a sofa, a kitchenette, and bathroom. The location was right off the 111 but it was quiet and peaceful. The pool area was gorgeous.
The location is perfect, right at the palm desert main road. Supermarket and restaurants in walking distance and about 20 minutes drive to joshua tree park south entrance. The staff was great, really nice lady’s! I arrived early and let me check inn with no issue’s
The hotel was nice, clean and comfortable. The staff were awesome especially Danira. She was great with my check in and was very sweet to my dog. I would definitely stay here again. The area felt really safe and there are several restaurants very close by.
Very modern, clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful. Good bed and a well furnished room. Breakfast was also plentiful and varied. Bar/restaurant just across from hotel was perfect place for drinks and tasty food.
Beautiful hotel for having rest and fun, looks like a heaven, it has everything you need, swimming pools, golf clubs, tennis courts, gym, basketball court, billiard game, friendly staff.
