Loved Morro Bay, but wish we'd had more time to visit other places around the area. Easy walk to shops and restaurants on main street. We especially liked Kickers (Tabitha was awesome), The Great American Fish Company, and Blue Sky Bistro. This was our first trip to the area, but it won't be our last.

Morro Bay is a charming small oceanside town.
Morro Bay is a charming small oceanside town. It is quiet, at least in February when we visited. The sea lions and otters are fun to watch and listen to. There are lots of restaurants and bars to chose from for going out. We loved the wine and beer choices at The Savory Palette. There is live music but not on the night we were there.

Businesses are welcoming and friendly, ready to meet your every need as you relax and take in peaceful surroundings. A nice little escape to unwind to meet and make new friends or just chill with your special someone.

We were surprised by the small town.
We were surprised by the small town. Great places to eat and buy souvenirs, but best of all was seeing the otters and their cubs up close. We loved it! There were also some harbor seals on the platforms. Guaranteed fun for animal lovers. We also took a walk to Morro Rock and watched the sandbanks and the waves breaking on the rocks. It was great! We had breakfast at Frankie and Lola's Front Street Cafe. Morro Rock is incredible!
Morro Rock is incredible! Be sure you leave enough time to walk around the wharf and the rock area. There were so many restaurant options that it was difficult to choose one as we were only in Morro Bay one night.

Morro Bay in general had a warm feeling to it right when we arrived. The room was clean, bed comfy, and the front desk woman was lovely and talked to us about the surrounding area. In the morning when we woke the Cafe next door had good breakfast food and a free gigantic cinnamon roll complimentary from the hotel was given. We were able to wake across the street to see seals and beavers floating around and sleeping. It was just lovely.

We were so close to the stores, view and restaurant that we never had to log anything around with us or use a public restroom. Rooms were very clean and modern. I have been in the Hotel and Hospitality industry for 40+ years.. I requested an upgrade which was a fair price and myself and my sons enjoyed the balcony.. you ought to keep her .. I’m sorry I don’t remember her name.. thank you for the stay! Breakfast was a nice touch!

The room had everything we needed and was laid out and designed as actual people would use. The plugs all had USB ports and were in every location you could possibly need one. The best of all was the crown light that acted as a mood light in the room. I have never seen this done before and it is absolutely beautiful. This is now our go-to place in Morro Bay.
