Blackout curtains were a plus as well as 50 inch flat screen tv wirh plenty of channels. Massive breakfast, gym, guest laundry and a pool. Very nice place. I especially liked that they gave me marriott bonvoy points even though I booked through booking.com. (Hilton doesn't do this)

Seems a nice town, not crazy busy but still quite lively in the downtown area. We ended up having dinner at a very good restaurant (NoJa) that we can definitely recommend. The parts of Mobile that we saw (mostly downtown and midtown) were full of Southern charm with gorgeous oaktree-lined avenues, squares and side streets, and quite a large harbor for cruise ships. We didn't stay long enough to explore in more detail but it all looked interesting.

Go to Gulf Shores, especially around Mardi Gras.
Go to Gulf Shores, especially around Mardi Gras. We spent the same amount for a low-class hotel in Mobile as we would have paid for a hotel or condo at Gulf Shores - in the winter. Gulf Shores has a Mardi Gras parade too. We were injured when entire boxes were tossed into the crowds from the floats in Mobile. In Mobile, prepare to pay $25 for parking during this festive time. Forget Dauphine Island, it's a dump. Gulf Shores has easier parking. I did feel comfortable with the people in Mobile and I did enjoy the historic district. Everything closes up during Mard Gars including the Carnival Museum, which has unusual hours anyway. Even the kids are out of school during this time.

Mobile is a great city, full of historical facts and of...
Mobile is a great city, full of historical facts and of course the birth place of Mardi gras! However in town suites was disgusting, roaches crawling on walls, ceilings, ac unit , tub, & sinks. Carpet filthy, power outlets hanging by wires, stovetop filthy, doors were black even though suppose to be white. Staff very rude. BOOKING. COM DOES NOT NEED TO PROMOTE THIS BUSINESS. I HAVE REPORTED IT TO THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT.
I liked the attention to details. The staff was efficient, helpful and courteous. Rooms were clean. Our view from our window was the brick streets. Walking distance to downtown Mobile, the Mobile cruise terminal and attractions. A free or discounted breakfast with our reservation to Bistro St Emanuel. $$. Over all we had a wonderful time exploring the down town historic areas.
The whole experience was great, the staff was so friendly and the room was ready and met our expectation for accessibility. the only item that was a little inconvenient, there was no working desk to work from. Being in a wheelchair, I would rather have the accessible items be what I need before a working area. We enjoyed the room and hotel.
At a time when everyone is price gouging it’s nice to have stayed at a great hotel with a great price! Location is good, the hotel, it’s staff, and he’s cleanliness are upper notch. Lobby and rooms are super nice and clean the bed is very comfortable. Free continental breakfast too. I’ll definitely stay here again next time in Mobile!
Angela was amazing at check-in and very helpful throughout our stay. The room was cleaned by Donna and she did an amazing job. The room itself was spacious and just perfect in every way. I will definitely stay here again. This is the third hotel that I have stayed while visiting Mobile for ASMS, and it is the absolute best one!

Beautiful old in. Of course it’s not perfect but that adds to the charm. Not your typical chain hotel or motel but with a historic twist and situated in historical area in Mobile Alabama. Highly recommended if you don’t want your typical Chain Hotel and like The charms of yesteryear.
The house is beautiful, exquisitely decorated in a southern colonial style. The room was tidy, clean and with a wonderful private bathroom. The hosts were very nice and gave us some advice and history tips about Mobile. I highly recommend it!
I always love staying at the Holiday Inn in Downtown Mobile! The location is PERFECT. We were able to walk everywhere that weekend. The view from the room was beautiful, and the room was comfy and cozy. The staff was superb!
