The staff was very helpful, professional and made our stay even better by upgrading us from 3-star to a 4-star room. Wellness area has the most amazing view and it was very hygienic. The room was spacious and comfortable, not to mention it is a beautiful one as well- together with the whole hotel, from reception to restaurant. They served a very well buffet. All together we very much enjoyed our stay!

Opatija is a lively and popular tourist destination which offers sandy beaches and some of the most stunning coastal views in Croatia, evident while strolling along its lovely seaside promenade Lungomare.
The town’s streets and pristine coastline are lined with bright and colourful pastel-coloured buildings, restaurants, bars, cafés and hotels.
If your plan is to go sightseeing, be sure to visit Opatija’s famous picture-postcard statue the Maiden with the Seagull, situated beside Juraj Šporer Art Pavilion. Other must-see sights are the Old City and the 14th-century Abbey of Saint James.
Neighbouring Opatija is Rijeka, Croatia’s historic and principal seaport town and a popular spot for a day trip. Rijeka’s most famous landmarks are the Maritime and History Museum of the Croatian Littoral and the 13th-century Trsat Castle, which offers magnificent city and coastal views.
Booking.com offers a range of hotels and apartments in Opatija and its neighbouring towns of Lovran, Ičići and Kastav.
Underwhelmed. When you look up Opatija you always see pictures of beautiful flowers, especially those in front of the Villa Angiolina. One of the reasons we stayed in Opatija was my wife loves flowers and especially flower gardens. The reality is vastly different from the pictures. We were there in early May 2024 and the weather was cool, but flowers tend to love cool weather. The condition of that postcard style trademark of Opatija was terrible. It is a pleasant town with a nice promenade, but when we were there most restaurants were closed and everything seemed unkempt. Half deserted and still no parking. Possibly they wait for the summer months to tend to things when the town is overrun with tourists and there is really really no place to park.

This place is so nice and beautiful.
This place is so nice and beautiful. And Lungomare walk is something incredible! I wish we had more time to explore the city or simply get lost there. Then visit the museums and admire historical villas, check out nice shops with souvenirs, spent more time just sitting and observing the sea in one of the cozy cafes at the seaside.

It’s a beautiful city with lots of Austrian style influenced buildings. I would not recommend it during the summer because for swimming in the sea it is not the best place to go to, as there are not really nice beaches. But for off season it is very nice.

Tourist Hotspot so most cafés/restaurants/bars are overpriced, often ridiculously so for the level of service. Also too crowded, even in off season. One exception: Pizzeria Roko, go eat there!

Well Opatia is an old tourist town.
Well Opatia is an old tourist town. It does show its age and set of problems like all tourist towns. But still retains its charm and different eras that build it.
A wonderful place to walk enjoy coffee on some terrace or a perfect sea food meal.
A smart home base point for wider exploration of Kvarner region, its hills and mountains as its islands.
The hotel personel was extremely friendly and helpful. In the first room we get was steady a low noisy which as not to omit. The lady at the reception offered us another room of the same quality and free parking in the garage for the caused inconvinience.
The room was on the sea-side with great view to Rijeka and surrounding mountains. The breakfast was tasty and of really great choice. Only to recommend.
There are several walking possibilities in the vicinity. Worth to walk to Lovran.
The hotel location is fantastic. The balcony allowed for hours of soaking up the atmosphere of watching people walking around the promenade or relaxing looking out over the beautiful Adriatic.
I was particularly impressed with the duty clerk who went out of her way to make our stay hassle free. She was very friendly and able to make decisions herself.
On site parking took away one of the most frustrating aspects of staying in the centre of Opatija.
Our host was extremely kind, the communication went smoothly. We got a bottle of fine wine as a present, and also some delicious fruits. The location is good, not noisy at all. This flat is the most equipped apartment, I have ever stayed in - during a holiday. Parking place is a huge advantage!
We went to the Medveja Beach to swim (by car), because in Opatija we haven't found big beaches. But the apartment is really close to the downtown.
The location of the hotel is perfect, with stunning sea views from the rooms, creating a serene and tranquil atmosphere for your stay. The panoramic views of the city from the pool and spa area are simply breathtaking and add an extra layer of relaxation to your experience. You can take a dip in the pool or relax in the hot tub while enjoying the stunning views.
The hotel is comfortable and has a great location with amazing views of the sea. Although the wellness area is nice it is rather small for such a big hotel. It has only 3 saunas with up to 6 people capacity, too small.
The breakfast is plentiful with a lot of variety, there is something for everyone, but the quality of the food could be better.
Absolutely cozy apartment, nicely renovated in vintage style. Our host Mladen was very friendly and offered us parking opportunity, which is an absolute jackpot in Opatija. The seaside is just a couple of stairs and steps distance from the door. We were only there for a winter weekend, but would be also ideal for a summer vacation for 2.
The hotel has a good location, even though if you wish to stay on the beach in the late afternoon, you will be in shade by lunch. We really liked the parking hall option and the terrace, as well as their spa - which has fantastic services by Ana! We ended up booking every possible service and she was fantastic!
The location is excellent, close to the beach in a quiet spot. The apartment is fully equipped with all necessary amenities and the host is highly responsive. Access to the property is easy and one has a parking place which matters a lot in Opatija. Thank you for a great stay
This room was one of the cleanest I've ever rent with very comfortable bad. Private parking place near the house.
The owner and comunications with them was simply and great! When I come back to Opatija one day I'll choose this room for sure!
Thank you for nicely hosting!
The Villa is in one of the best locations of Opatija, directly opposite the Park centar and next to the Bristol Hotel. The room was new, comfortable and very clean. We had a very nice welcome from the host and uncomplicated parking around the corner.
Beautifully renovated modern cosy apartment, well equipped with everything you may need with helpful owner. Parking lot is included which is of great importance in Opatija. Beach and city center are within a short walk.
We had a free room upgrade which was perfect for our small family. The breakfast and dinner meals were outstanding. The location of the hotel was a jump distance from the sea, and close to all major places.
The position of the hotel right on the beach, the view from the room to the sea. Employees are friendly and ready to help. The hotel is clean, the room is spacious, the bed is comfortable.
The room was beautiful and had a lovely terrace overlooking the sea. It was clean and the rest of the hotel is beautiful. Breakfast was also quite nice!
