The room was large and had a small balcony looking to the harbour. The building is from 1826 and constructed of beautiful stonework which you see inside the room. There are some steps but not difficult.
It has some nice outdoor seating areas and a taverna below for coffee and a light breakfast.
The bed was comfortable. The manager was kind and helpful.

I loved the courtyard and private upper terrace, the garden, the location and the property had everything you could need. There was a lot of attention to detail. Being greeted by Florian was lovely and he and the housekeeper were delightful. Helpful and very friendly. Florian met me at the port with my luggage having stored it for me until my ferry arrived. Much appreciated.

Great accommodation run by lovely people, I was in Methana for a wedding taking place near Vathi where all accommodation was booked out, but I don't regret staying a couple of km away in Megalochori, the views from the guesthouse are amazing and it's a nice quick walk down to the cute port of Vathi.
The food was delicious and the room was very comfortable.
