I feel like one doesn’t have a full picture of Greece without a visit to a hill town like Dimitsana. Lovely, lively, intriguing. Drive respectfully or not at all. Visit the monastery (you have to open the gate yourself during visiting hours), walk the hills, visit the water power museum and simply enjoy authentic Greece.ChristineUnited States of America - 10Scored 10

We appreciated the helpfulness of our host. He directed us to a hike that we wanted to make and helped facilitate transportation so we could be dropped off at one end and hike back to the village. We enjoyed a traditional breakfast both of the mornings we stayed at the guesthouse. The room was comfortable and we loved sitting on the balcony in the morning to enjoy the view of the village.Michele - 10Scored 10

We stayed for 2 nights, which could have been longer, but there was so much to see in Peloponnese. We had a day to hike the gorge and visit monasteries, which shouldn't be missed. (One can actually drive close to them, but the hike was beautiful.) Some good restaurants in town, too.

There is a lift inside but you have 3 steps to get inside and the luggage has to be carried a short distance from the car to the guesthouse. It’s a lovely place and we felt very welcomed. It was again an absolute pleasure to stay here, the rooms are very large, with front and rear decks, and it is so peaceful and relaxing. Even the bathroom looks out over the magnificent mountains of Dimitsana. Only a couple of minutes from the historic centre and great restaurants, this is a secret haven in the middle of nature.
