Breakfast was outstanding in every regard. Cooked to order or buffetstyle offered in a wonderful surrounding. The restaurant dinner was fantastic - everything cooked fresh from 5* ingredients. The location is about 12 km outside of Rovinj in a beautiful countryside setting between vinyards and endless olive tree plantations. Parking is safe inside the hotels own parking - with an automatic gate.
Every employee was super friendly and always there to help if necessary.

It is very convenient for us that Bale is somewhere in the middle between Pula and Rovinj, also many great sights to see such as Kamenjak, also a lof of small islands to visit. We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for 5 nights and it was much too short! Could visit for a month.

Bale is located within driving distance to bigger tourist attractions (Pula, Brijuni/Fazana, Rovinj are 20-25 min away), which makes it close enough to explore and far enough to avoid noise and crowds. I loved its location, because it is also convenient for outdoor activities (proximity of sea, biking, hiking). I loved the old city, cobbled streets, beautiful vistas. I would recommend it equally to those looking for an active vacation experience or to those just looking to relax.

Charming quiet town.
Charming quiet town. Well maintained homes and a small number of shops and eateries. Although we were told it was typically Istrian unlike other towns we visited it had hardly any commercial establishments. It is not on the water but close by. As with any older Istrian town you park outside the center and walk with no cars to bother you!

A truly charming and one of a kind historic town, with all sorts of surprises, from great dining (La Grisa and Istra are two musts), to lovely cafes, eventful summer ( I need to come back for Jazz festival) and pristine nearby beaches (reachable via free town provide transport). And, nearby activities, including nearby Rovinj, biking on trails, wineries, olive orchards, water parks, etc, just make it, for us, a repeat location for our exploration of Istria and it's surroundings.

Very nice medieval town. Only few tourists.
Very nice medieval town. Only few tourists. Good restaurants. Ideal place to stay if you look for a quite place. 6 - 10 km to the beach. To get around a car is necessary. Ideal place for an elderly couple without kids.
The accommodation was excellent, we had everything we needed. We especially would like to thank the owner of this place - Davor. His kindness and friendliness was remarkable and he was always willing to help in any way he could. The access to the Mon Perin beach was just great and welcome gifts so delicious! Thank you so much ☺️☺️☺️We enjoyed our stay very much and can highly recommend this hotel to anyone who needs to rest in friendly and very quiet environment.
The villa is new and nicely decorated, owned by a very nice Croatian family from Bale. Very well equipped and swimming pool is great. The pictures are representing the reality! Located in a very pretty village (with castle) with a bakery, small supermarket and several restaurants. Short drive to a beautiful beach where it is very easy to park your car. Pula & Rovinj are beautiful! Wifi is perfect! I can truly say this was the perfect holiday location!
The farmhouse is amazing, beautifully renovated yet still authentic and cozy, peaceful and surrounded by Istrian nature. Rovinj and Bale, a hidden gem worth exploring, are near and easily reached by car. The host is wonderful, very attentive and happy to meet all of your needs, and gives great tips for local dining. Breakfast is excellent, all local (or authentic Croatian :) ) foods, fresh fruits and juices, with good coffee. All around good service!
We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. Absolutely everything is perfect. The staff is extremely attentive and pleasant, the environment is beautiful and the large outdoor pool gives extra charm. The room is spacious and clean, and the bathroom is modern with a walk in shower. Special praise goes to Mrs. Rada who made our stay even more beautiful. Their wines are wonderful and the breakfast exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back soon.
Great staff, very nice, although they don't speak English (they do Italian and German), very close to the city centre, the city is extremely beautiful. Nice balcony and garden with BBQ outside, very well prepared. The rooms are big enough, one big bathroom and a smaller one, good enough for 8 people at least.
Our favourite place in Croatia! Bale is so relaxed and this hotel is right in the historic center. When we arrived we got a welcome drink and could chill in the café. We loved that we could eat right there in the courtyard. Radio Swiss Jazz plays in the background. Amazing experience.
The camp is clean and well maintained. The accommodation was excellent, nicely decorated and have everything as described and more. The terrace is huge and we enjoyed every moment on it, We also liked the location of the camp, it is close to Pazin, Bale, Pula, Rovinj...
