Alacati is quirky, easy to explore and wonderful to visit. It was however incredibly expensive, a small beer was over 200tl and a gin and tonic came in at at 800tl. Amazing town to stay at and spend few days.. walking there is so safe and refreshing.. A lot of things to see and a lot of food options around. Also there were a lot to do nearby. I would say that staying in Alaçatı for few days is an enjoyable experience for sure

A very cosy village in the extreme western Turkey, just one hour far from Izmir. Well kept, a lot of bars and restaurants. Beautiful environment (houses, streets....). For some views it quite similar to Provence. Just pay attention to the costs... Alaçati is not cheap, especially if compered with the rest of Turkey so my advice is to take your time to search for the perfect place for dinner, there are a lot of them! Anyway it worths a visit!

The breakfast is incredible and the hotel is designed beautifully. However, I had a massage that was truly awful and the hotel did nothing to address the negative experience, which was disappointing. (take into account that taxi in alacati is ridiculously expensive, better to rent a car) driving to the beaches is around 20min. from izmir airport to alacati is around 1 hour.
