The staff was extremely nice and made our stay extra pleasant with a great basket for breakfast and drinks during the day. Also the communication was very smooth. The experience of living in a bubble literally was very unique, and inside it everything is modern, cozy and taken very good care of.

Muy céntrico, cómodo, limpio y decorado con buen gusto.
We were only in Soria for a day and a night . It is plagued with one way systems and lack of parking so not easy to negotiate. Staying at the Paradore also meant a steep walk to and from the hotel . I have no doubt that Soria has many points of interest but for myself and wife they were too difficult to visit in our limited time

Soria was a fantastic place to visit. I was privileged to stay with local people for a lot of my stay so I was spoilt with information on where to go.

A lot to see but you need to walk, the town is quite extended.
See the excellent botanical gardens, a good walk. Great patisserie Yorks near entrance of gardens.
The Little Train ride takes you all round the town and down to the river, with fantastic view of church on cliff, very good and saves a steep street ramble.
A very Spanish town experience
Must visit old archaeological site of Numancia old Celto-Iberian city settlement a few km away to north.

Nice riverside walk to Numantia, friendly people.
Nice riverside walk to Numantia, friendly people. What’s odd is the food service. Restaurants in Soria have odd hours in which you can order a meal or sandwich. For example, you can order from the menus after 8:00 pm in most restaurants. Also, I didn’t find coffee shops that served good coffee.

Soria is a lovely town and the people are very friendly and helpful. There is a huge choice of bars and restaurants to choose from. A must to do is the fantastic walk along the river to the Ermita built into the rock. Fascinating and well worth a visit. On the way back on the opposite side of the river there is a very nice restaurant to stop for a coffee drink or more. Afterwards cross the road and a little to your left is a very well done walkway up to a ruined castle and the Parador hotel, more refreshments. All in all Soria is a charming place to stopover for a few days.

Soria is a beautiful town on the riverbanks of Duero.
Soria is a beautiful town on the riverbanks of Duero. The two main sights close to the river are San Juan de Duero (smallish ruined convent which is beautiful and worth an quick visit) and San Saturio. There is a walkway next to the river which connects both sites.
The town itself was filled with people during the evenings and we had a very good time eating out.
Only a couple of kilometers away lies Numancia which is a very interesting archeology site. We took the guided tour which I can highly recommend.
We used this hotel for a stopover while travelling through Spain. We appreciated the fact that it had a restaurant open late, and we dined there with great pleasure. The room was spacious, with three individual beds, which allowed us to rest well before the journey. The mattress was a bit soft for my husband's liking. I appreciated the little bedside tables and lamps for everyone. We liked the overall cleanliness and comfort of the hotel. We'll certainly revisit the place when our journeys take us there again.
Hostal Alda Río Duero is a basic, economy hotel (for Americans, it is similar to a Holiday Inn Express). The room was fairly large by European standards and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was very good in addition to coffee, tea, and breads, there were yogurt, cereal, sliced ham, sliced cheese, and fruit available.
Located right in the centre of the old town. Very comfortable beds. Very good buffet breakfast with good coffee. The staff were very friendly and helpful. You can walk out the front door of the hotel, and enjoy the buzz of the town. Lovely atmosphere of the old town.
The workers make the all possible to make your stay comfortable.
I had no Spanish Sim card, I contacted the hotel service even late night, they were so happy to help me.
I recommended to any one visiting Soria.
And I am good to back to it again in the future.
It is a nice hotel with perfect staff. Quiet, elegant, big room with nice shower and facilities. They have a lot of spaces to park car outside and in the parking lot in another building. The bed was nice and big enough!
Excellent location to get in and out of Soria and a short walk from the Santo Domingo church, the Antonio Machado institute and the shopping and bar area.
The owner was very kind and helpful. Details that show care.
It was clean, conveniently located close to the center of Soria, our host thought about all details we could need in a house, he was helpful. I think it is the best place to stay if you are in Soria☺️
Great location was near to everything , I went for work and celebration event. Close to Restaurants , landmarks and Coffee Shop, museums, you a right in the heart of Soria. Easy Check and Check out.
Breakfast was good, a big plus for the hydromassage in the bath tub, it was nice extra after long drive. We stopped just for a one night on our road trip. The hotel was perfect for that.
A very friendly reception to a very efficient hotel. It is well placed for the centre and easy to find. Parking is in the public facility just across the road. All good
