Sahara Majestic Luxury Camp, hotel in Merzouga

Sahara Majestic Luxury Camp features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Merzouga.

At the border of the Sahara looking into the desert. Luxury tents with all the comfort inside. Traditional costume is given at every guest to wear at the camp fire after diner. At arrival you’re given a lemon mint drink which was refreshing! The transfer with 4x4 was very enjoyable, also the camel transfer for the kids was fun (1h45min). Diner at night was delicious and more then you can eat! In the evening there is a djembe session at a camp fire where you can enjoy a free tea and you can also dance if you feel like it. Friendly staff!

Kasr Tin Hinane in Merzouga features a terrace and a bar. Featuring a garden, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom.

The owner greeted us personally and made us feel very welcome. He did not push for us to go on extra excursions nor did he request us to focus on checking in immediately. He made it clear we were to focus on getting comfortable after our long journey. He spent time getting to know us and set a beautiful candlelit dinner up for us by the pool. The next day he drove us to the nearest village where we could buy lunch, and supplies for our stay in a desert camp the next day. He also drove us to our meeting point after check out. All of this at no extra charge. He also provided us with his contact details in case we hit any snags during our stay in the area. Our room was perfect with plenty of space. We were also given a tour of the hotel and I can attest that the other rooms were also stunning.

We did eat at Kasba Planet Sahara, Food was great, local, well prepared by the lady cook, just a bit too big portions :):):) Excellent! Outdoor meal was in the desert - grill - local type - wow, we all enjoyed! Additionally, was easy to walk arround and to have a drink in some local caffee shops - very nice. this was for sure one of the best experiences we had in Morocco. All the staff was 5*. - we left the car in a free and safe park - we had a 2 hours camel ride at sunset which was magical ( not included in the price of the room but totally worth it) - The food and the room was very nice - We got to sing and dance to Berber songs and we talked with Mohammed for like 2 hours ( there are a lot of Mohammed’s here) 😁. He was incredible and answered at all of our questions about the Berber culture, Merzouga, the desert , etc

One of the few luxury camps in Merzouga has aircon, which could be useful in summer or winter. The camp is 400 meters away from the castle hotel, which belongs to the same group, which help ensure logistics. The hotel also has a pool open to camp guests. Upon checking in at the hotel, you can choose to go buy camels for the sunset and to go to the camp. This would be highly recommended! The camp is spacious with 1 big king size bed and and a single, plus sofa. Local africa music will be at play with bonfire after dinner.

All the staff were amazing. Such kind people, we miss you already! Place was a dream, so peaceful clean and beds were huge and so comfortable. This place was the highlight of our trip to Morocco!!! Would definitely recommend merzouga luxury camps and right on the sand dunes too. Hope to come back in the future. Thanks guys

This was our first experience in a desert and it was amazing. In Morocco the are a lot of tour operator that can bring you into Erg Chebbi (merzouga) or Zagora. Zagora is not like Merzouga! If you want to find high san dunes (up to 150 mt) choose Merzouga

We took the bus from Fes to Merzouga to get to the Hotel. We arrived at 6 in the morning. Ali was already there waiting for us to make sure we could get a couple hours of sleep before our trip in the desert.
