Very built up area but had everything you need. Long Promenade with lovely sandy beach. Buses were great - cheap and clean. Lots of different bars & restaurants to choose from. Prices very good. Nice walk to the Castle (free entry). Recommend The Lotus Steak restaurant! Day trip to Benalmadena via the Ferry is a good way of getting out & about. Sunday market and a very large market every Tuesday in the town centre (which was a fair walk from The Veramar Aparthotel).

You take Fuengirola as it is, if you want bars with TV's there are plenty, nightlife if you want it. A 7 kilometer seafront to walk along, very good selection of restaurants. Quiet areas away from the town. Taxis, buses and trains all available. Very Spanish still lots of pretty squares. You do not see rubbish laying around especially on surrounding roads.

Promenade is touristy, but a few streets back Fuengirola is a Spanish town with good facilities, excellent quality fruit and veg and fish at half the UK cost. Proper high street with clothes and shoe shops, even Botox clinics if this is your thing ! Huge Carrefour supermarket ( equivalent of Waitrows) and smaller Mercadona (equivalent of Tescos)
Every type of restaurants even Indians, Thai, English fish and chip shop.
Parking is difficult but area around mosque is free, don't try on a Friday or Sunday !

Pool area was nice too with steps into water...a plus for me! Our room was attended daily and the staff are very friendly..happy to help in any way they can. It is very central for restaurants, bars and the beach. I would not consider staying anywhere else in Fuengirola!

Staff is super friendly, gym is in great condition, hotel inside and out is stupendous. Super clean and decor is grand. We love it here! Especially enjoy listening to Miquel the pianist who plays the most beautiful music you could ever hope for in a hotel lobby! Truly talented, as we bring local friends to the hotel to enjoy the evenings he plays during our stays.
The staff were so friendly and efficient , I had a problem with the room safe but Maria came and changed the batteries and solved the problem. Location is perfect , 5 minutes to the beach and 10 minutes to the famous FISH ALLEY where you will find about 100 restaurants. We hope to stay at your hotel again early next year. The bed was quite good. I suffer from osteoarthritis and need a soft bed, and it was quite ok, better than in many other hotels, but could have had a (bed)mattress pad on top of the regular mattress.
The room is very clean and the lobby as well.
All the receptionist are very nice.
