The studio apartment was modern, well-designed and fully functional. We changed from a hotel room upon arrival and this went smoothly.
This pleasant hotel is located in the residential area of El Pito, just 2 km from Cudillero Harbour and Aguilar Beach.

We arrived on the bus from Navia, via another bus from Muros de Calon. Said we would be arriving between 2&3. Staff member was waiting, very upbeat with better English that our very broken Scottish Spanish. But we got there in the end. Lol.. We were given the key to our we room . Great place., bed was so comfy and the shower was amazing. Was a mile to the top of Cuidierllo, then about a 1/2 mile down to the harbour area. Amazing fishing town, many restaurants and cafes/bars dotted along the climb. The day after took the Feve train to Aviles, had a walk around , fab old centre. Walk back to Salinas, amazing beach after a very very Industrial zone walk. Serious industrial area, steel, zinc, aluminium etc. This I must say does not detract from the wonderful centre of Aviles. Wonderful old building and a very beautiful park in the centre. After getting Feve back to hotel. The hotel also had a vending machine, everything a Euro. water, crisps, olives, beer. Cheers 😁😁

Hotel was well positioned near the facilities, restaurants etc of Cudillero. There's only one road down into Cudillero and the hotel was on the road but was very quiet. We stayed only only one night so made few demands on the hotel.

We had a 2 bedroom room which had lots of space for us and our 2 children. It was clean and the directions to find it/access to free parking was great. Close the town - all the shops and restaurants.

Great location in the center of town. The room was clean, bathroom fine. They were willing to store luggage until we left.

We loved Cudillero.
We loved Cudillero. We only had 3 nights but that was not enough. We could easily have stayed for a week as there was so much to do. We explored the village by foot, we ate in many of the wonderful seafood restaurants (Recommend El Remo and Isabel), we bought groceries and shopped and we drove to several nearby Sandy beaches. We went for a drive to the valley of the bears which was very picturesque. However there are also many lovely cities close by that we ran out of time to visit like Oviedo. There was also a rail trail in the Valley of the bears that we would like to come back and do as it looked like a stunning ride.

54 steps from street level to 2nd floor room.
54 steps from street level to 2nd floor room. I am 84 and my wife is 76; she has a mobility problem. No mention was made of the steep climb. I should have asked, maybe, but we do not normally have problems with a reasonable number of stairs.
Car parking. A public park 12 minutes walk away is unacceptable.
The bathroom was very small.
The curtains were could not beheld back because of the 45° slope. So the windows couldn’t be opened. It was over 30° when were there. The curtains had to be close at night as there was a huge public street lamp right outside the bedroom. It was on all night. There was also a public path right outside the bedroom.

Cudillero is a delightful little town with a gorgeous fishing harbor, tourists on summer weekends, a couple of pleasant walks (one with an amazing view of the harbor and the ocean), a few restaurants, and a very pretty 2-star hotel named La Casona de Pio. We enjoyed fresh fish at the Casa de Julio. We also had an excellent lunch at El Cafe del Faro, right next to our hotel.

I was there for 2 days. Way too long. Half a day would do it.
Food is very expensive in the restaurants. The idea being that seafood direct from the Cantabrian sea is expensive, but I'd have thought the lack of transport costs would make it cheaper than in Madrid, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

A lovely little fishing port.
A lovely little fishing port. Plenty of restaurants serving local food, which were still open in October when we went.
Lovely for a walking holiday (as long as you have strong legs as it's all steep hills!).
This quaint boutique hotel oozes charm and character. Although old, the rooms have been nicely updated and were comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and the property has several sitting areas to enjoy reading, chatting or getting to know other guests. The staff was especially helpful and friendly, especially Rachel. The town itself is also a treasure. We enjoyed just wandering around and taking the steps up and down to different levels of the town.
The fisherman’s cottage was an over and cozy place to stay in Cudillero. It was cozy and the view from the apartment was so picturesque. Manuela our host made every effort to make our stay so enjoyable, The bed was the best we had stayed in so far. The fact that there three flights in the building did not bother us in the least and we are seniors.
What a hidden gem! This is one of the nicest properties we’ve ever stayed at, and probably the least expensive. Huge room, very comfortable bed, great shower. Breakfast for 10€ was excellent. Wonderful and helpful staff. A few miles down the road is the very picturesque village of Cudillero. Fun place to visit. We can’t wait to return.
This house used to belong to a local artist who was renowned in Spain, hence many copies of his artwork can be seen in the hallway. The view is excellent, I can tell how the artist was painting the beautiful town when sitting on his own terrace. And above all, the host lady Hana is a super star! highly recommend!
We enjoyed everything! The people at the counter were very friendly, the breakfast was the best we've had: all natural! The room itself is very spacious and the building is an old authentic Asturian house which is very cool.
It's an easy walk to Cudillero (20min aprox).
Definitely recommend this place!
The location was great. A good breakfast is served in the morning. Beds were comfortable, and rooms were very clean. Everyone at the hotel was great. So welcoming, friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend this place.
This is a wonderful place to stay - very at home feel to it with excellent facilities, and welcoming hosts. If you are hiking the Camino it is just off the trail with a large grocery store nearby. Cudillero is also worth a visit if you have the time.
I have to mention the shower it was the best we've ever had in Spain. After a day out walking we love a good shower but you don't often get one this was brill. Loads of hot water, lo leaks, no flooding bathroom, etc.
Perfect location for a short break in Cudillero. Amazing staff, helpful and kind. Tasty, fresh, homemade breakfast. The room was comfortable with a small balcony. The bathroom was well equipped.
Beautiful location, quiet and relaxing. Friendly hostess. We went on some hikes and got a lot of rest. It rained, as it usually happens in Asturias, and the house felt very cozy.
We loved the historical character of this Los Indianos hotel. Very imaginative home made breakfast set us up for the day. The staff were all extremely attentive as well.
The view to town, Cudillero, from top of the hill where house is located.Apt. was shiny clean, very beautifully decorated with everything you might need! Will return!!
