A wonderful place for people who like to relax actively. One of the most beautiful cities in the world. The number of places that must be visited is endless. I am still hungry for new experiences related to culture and life in Barcelona.

Best advice is to book tickets for anyplace you might need tickets before you go. Most are refundable up to 24 hrs before admission. We did not anticipate the early April crowds and were locked out of some major sights. This is an easy walking city but has public transportation if wanted.
We appreciated the hop-on hop-off busses for a look at parts of the city we would not have had time to explore. Excellent food at reasonable prices almost everywhere!

An amazing city . My and my daughter's 2nd visit.
An amazing city . My and my daughter's 2nd visit. My son's 1st visit. We could have stayed longer but managed to cram lots in. Entrance to many cultural attractions seemed extremely expensive to me as compared to before.
I spent a lot on accommodation but in retrospect I would opt for a place further out and cheaper as the metro system is good and even if you are centrally located as we were you will still need to use the metro anyway.

Barcelona was one big disappointment.
Barcelona was one big disappointment. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the city, its public transport and urban solutions - the city center is green, bicycle lanes are well made, separated from cars and pedestrians and well maintained, designated parking spots are well marked and all vehicles (including motorbikes) are well organised. If you think that usually a city center has very tight streets and naturally it's difficult to organise them, in Barcelona they made it work somehow - cars, bicycles, pedestrians, gastronomy facilities with their tables, even large trash bins for recyclables - each has their designated space and that's really something.
When it comes to the typical tourist stuff, I think Barcelona is overrated. Sagrada Familia for example is ok if you didn't see any unusual church in the past but not really a wow. Park Guell, Palau de la musica and the Sant Pau hospital are just tourist traps, absolutely not worth spending your time and money. If you're in that neighbourhood, go and see it from the outside. You'll thank me later :D
If you're into hiking, go and see both Montserrat and Tibidabo for their amazing views and surely combine them with a nice hike.
And of course visit one of the markets (for example the one by La Rambla) where they serve fresh oysters and other seafood. If you're not so into it, you'll get converted there :D
We were a family of four traveling with two teens. We booked a family room and had zero complaints, only praise! Lots of room, excellent AC, clean and tidy hotel. Helpful, lovely desk staff and great location. We did not take breakfast, but one of us went down each morning to have a quiet coffee in the breakfast area. Barcelona was our third destination in a four city trip over two weeks and this hotel was the best. If you are a family traveling and need a great place to rest: book a family room and you won't be disappointed!
Lovely breakfast - great value for money. Great quality of everything offered.
Perfect location.
Amazing attention to guests you can rarely meet even in in 5 star hotels. People working there are excellent professionals.
Halloween decorations and small presents on the pillow are lovely.
Generally the hotel offers great value for money and perfect attentive approach to guest relations. The service in Spain has so much to improve - after one week in Barcelona I understood that this hotel is a pure diamond))
Fantastic hotel! The room was comfortable and spacious with plenty of room and quite comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet selection was great. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the city center and a few steps fron Universitat metro station. The staff was very firendly and the view from toproof terrace - amazing! All in all, this was a great experience and I would highly recommend Jazz Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Barcelona.
The hotel was great. Easy to find. Great location, literally in the center of Barcelona. Easy to travel with public transport, I think it's the best option. It has a very cheap car parking right next to it. And trust me, car parking is a big issue in Barcelona. Our room had really nice view of the main road. There is a nice terrace where you can chill anytime. A little gym. Overall a great place, it has everything you could need. Definitely recommended.
This hotel/hostel was just great for a quick trip to Barcelona! Super comfy, clean and modern room, with a person to receive us and hold our keys at reception 24/7, great security, and a nice common area.
The best part is the location - it's in a super nice and quiet part of the city, but close enough to walk to the center, super close to the main streets of Barcelona, and super close to the bus stop to the airport. Couldn't have asked for better!
First of all, I would like to thank the friendly staff for a pleasant vacation. On vacation, the two most important things to me are a clean bathroom and a comfortable bed. This hotel lived up to those expectations. The location of the hotel is ideal, a few minutes' walk from the metro station and the shopping center, a quiet part of Barcelona. The staff was really wonderful, we got a map of Barcelona and all the tips to get around the city.
Very clean hotel with nice design in the best location in Barcelona.
Close to shopping streets, metro, restaurants and pubs, airport shuttle Aerobus, hop on hop off buses.
Room was very cozy, warm, silent with very comfortable bed and blackout curtains. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly.
Breakfast is good with quite big variety of food.
I would definitely come back here again.
Host - he waited for us even thou we had a late flight and there was a strike at airport and we meeded to wait gor our luggage
Location - close to thw Sagrada like 15 minute walk, it can be considered that you are in the city center
Barcelona - 😊
F1 - We went mainly there because of the F1 weekend , and that was a great experiance, I would recommend anyone that loves F1
Anna was great! Hotel is really clean, new look, feel to it. Its not a high end hotel - location was amazing. Its Spain, people are out late so if you are a light sleeper, you may hear street noise. Barcelona is lively and amazing. Central to the waterfront which is beautiful, loads of amazing restaurants, coffee shops, bakery all at your foot steps.
Simply wonderful!!! The staff are outstanding, the breakfast was lovely, room was impeccably clean and very quiet. Hotel is right in the city center. My room was tiny BUT The pictures accurately reflected this and I was going at a busy time and was happy to get any room. I will happily stay here again the next time I'm in Barcelona.
location near to all transportation access to everywhere..hundreds of restaurants nearby especially restaurants in placa del Concòrdia ( amazing area ) also 1 minute to shopping mall Lailla with all shops and big supermarket ..at last this hotel has the best breakfast ever in the world not only Spain 👍🏻
Very satisfied with the hotel staffing - employees were really polite and helpful. The rooms have been cleaned very well too. Its location within Barcelona central city is also very reasonable - just 20min by bus to the city center.
Loved the hotel. Absolutely beautiful very comfortable beds and lots of Spanish charm. Perfect location near lots of great shopping and food with access to main roads. On a quiet street best sleep I had traveling Spain.
loved the spa , the room , the design. I will definitely come back , it’s one of the best hotel in Barcelona and I went to 5 stars one that were quite disappointing so this hotel is a really good surprise.
Nice location near the center of Barcelona yet a little more quiet in the late evening than if you stayed in the center! Everything within the city is in walking distance of the hotel!
The location is amazing, perfectly set in one of the best neighborhoods of Barcelona.
The room on the 6th floor had an amazing view on Barcelona city center's streets.
