Nice place, simple but cosy room and breakfast. I liked the stuff although they didn't speak English so it was difficult to communicate. They let you leave your luggage in the lodge if you go for a trekking

Huge room, warm shower, delicious dinner and cold beer! A great place to start hiking in the Colca Canyon, and they let us leave our bags for two nights plus did laundry! The lomo saltado was amazing.

The pool war great after the hike. It was possible to have the breakfast very early at 5 am to start hiking early. Original we have booked one day earlier, but it was possible to switch our day of arrival in short term.

It is a little paradise. Really great to relax far from civilization. Pool area was amazing, it was just missing sunbeds but it was ok to sunbathe on the grass as well. Food was simple but the host was really trying to accommodate even with vegan food. We stayed 2 days and each time I got a different meal. The lodges were simple but clean and the bed was very comfortable. You had no choice but to relax as there was nowhere else to go.

Staff was amazing and very very friendly. They help you with everything from hike information to arranging a taxi. Food was tasty. Bread freshly baked from own oven. Beds are comfortable. 2nd stay we had a great hot shower! If you need to stay in Cabanaconde, this is the place!
