The staff responded in Facebook chat quickly and politely. When we were at the hotel they were always prompt to assist us with a smile. Breakfast was superb. Their Kanom Krok is the best I've ever had. It’s not traditional style but crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, with a rich taste of coconut. Best thing is it’s not too sweet. I would stay there again just for them.
The hotel itself is beautiful with many spots for pictures taking.

When you are tired of traveling Bangkok, Khao Yai offers an alternative and that is closer to nature. There is the National Park (with option of Night Safari), Strawberry Park and Sunflower fields (subject to the time of year you travel there). Goes without saying you can find great Thai food (several restaurants screened for Michelin). Khao Yai also has its own Vineyard/Winery Thai-local wine production.
Recommended to have your transport as it is not a place where you can just hail a taxi or call a Grab... Rental cars is the best option. It is about 2.5-3 hour drive from Bangkok International Airport (one-way). As it has its highway, we did not suffer reputable traffic congestion typical within Bangkok.... but better to buffer in more time on your return trip to airport, just in case of any wrong turns or whatsoever.

The National Park is huge and if you have a car you can take 2 days to do some different trails and have picnics on the flat land.
Ban Tha Cha springs are beautiful and great for a cold swim in the heat.
The sunflower field was a miss as the were dried up and down :(
Hokkaido flower park was great, go with someone so you can take pictures :)
Toscana Valley is awesome, just get your hotel to make a reservation at a restaurant so you can enter. Vino Cafe wasnt that good as they only had drinks and croissants.
Go to Toscana valley around 5pm to walk around and catch the sunset.

GPS needed in getting around.
GPS needed in getting around. Gets really cold in December: fleece jackets, sweaters, and long-sleeve shirts and pants are a must. Weekends get the Bangkok visitors and it gets crowded. Dinner time is early; eating after 20:00 becomes difficult.

Great mountain views at the balcony of our tree house. Houses 4 adults comfortably. Daily delivery of hot coffee and brownies to room and free in-room mini bar were nice gestures. Simple but tasty and comprehensive breakfast. Easy access to many Khao Yai attractions.

Beautiful area with waterfalls, temples, and scenic views.
Beautiful area with waterfalls, temples, and scenic views. Most attractions and restaurants are quite spread apart, so a vehicle is preferable to a bicycle. Wide variety of accommodation choices. Great place to relax and enjoy nautre.
