The Radiant City
Honoured by Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi, one of the holiest mosques in Islam, Medina is the 2nd most important Islamic pilgrimage site after Mecca. Surrounded by hills that have seen hundreds of people seek refuge in its oasis, this city has developed a range of modern facilities to host the pilgrims from all over the world.
Formerly named Yathrib, the city is also known as Madīnat an-Nabiy or ‘Prophet’s City’, and it’s also known as Al-Madīnat(u) 'l-Munawwarah or ‘Radiant City’. The Prophet Muhammad came to the city in the 7th century, seeking refuge from his opponents. According to Muslim theology, the last chapters of the Quran were revealed to him here.
The site where the Prophet lived is now occupied by the Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi or ‘Prophet’s Mosque’. Although the mosque has changed and expanded over the years, the green dome is part of the original sanctuary.
Places like the Masjid Quba mosque, the Masjid Al-Qiblatain mosque and the Al-Baqi Cemetery also represent important holy sites in Medina.

Every Muslim should visit Madinatul Munawwarah and visit Masjid Nabawi (SAWS). Now you can visit Riyadhul Jannah once in a year. Also visit other historical places like Masjid Quba (first mosque built), Masjid Qiblatain and so on.MMW - 10Scored 10

When your heart is deeply connected to a city like Madina, everything around becomes truly amazing. Our souls and hearts remain captivated by the beauty of Madina. The nearby food options around Masjid Nabwi may be average, but taking a stroll to explore different cuisines and savor authentic flavors is truly worth it. It's important to note that driving in Madina has become a bit challenging due to ongoing maintenance work. Unfortunately, Google Maps may not always provide accurate information about the blockages and detours. Check in took only 2 mins. the gentlemans were so lovely and gave us more keys when we lost many times. also they offered us late checkout without any fees to pray Friday prayers. The best thing was when we checked in our shower was broken and called front office and they sent rightaway Technian to repair. and since we came to saudia we’ve been to so many 5 stat hotel but this is the one where you can quality service!!!! Great job to Front office staff!

Racist people hotel staff, if you are saudi or white skinned person then you may get a suite or better room otherwise end up getting a dirtiest room. I would say a US motel room is much cleaner than the rooms listed here. I will never ever book a room in this hotel.MohdUnited States
