The hotel was decorated in a quriky but classical way and very nicely done without going over the top. Breakfast was excellent and overall was good value, its an excellent venue if you are visiting Blenheim Palace as it was 2 mins away.

Breakfast was great. The room comfy and cosy. The place has “olde worlde” charm and feel to it, and we liked it, a lot. The bar is a small maze of nooks and crannies and that makes it fun.

This property is located in the village of South Leigh, just 15 minutes' drive to Oxford city centre and a 20-minute drive from the Cotswolds.

Wonderful staff and a beautiful place to stay

The Duke of Marlborough is a quaint building just outside Woodstock and Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. It offers free parking and hearty, locally-sourced food.

The room was large with a sofa. Bed was large and very comfortable and warm. The bathroom had a shower in the bath with plenty of hot water.Shampoo and shower gel was provided,a nice touch. The staff were extremely welcoming and nothing was too much trouble . Breakfast was great and dinner was delicious.
