Just very small village, close to other small villages in area, easy to access the A69 and onward to Newcastle. The area good for walking. There are a number of places to eat close by within about 3 miles. Excellent Indian Restaurant 5 min drive away, Khan's at Waterloo, and numerous Pub/Restaurants too within close proximity. Train Station in Weatheral just couple of miles down road with trains to Carlisle and Newcastle and villages in between Haltwhistle, and Hexham for a day out.DerekUnited Kingdom

A quaint old fashioned pub / hotel, comfortable rooms, good beer and food, and a really pleasant, good natured set of staff who could not have done more to welcome up and help in any way they could. It’s a good location for stopping off at the motorway, and a really quiet to boot. Nice gardens and off road parking.
