We visited for a family wedding at Bassmead Manor so didn’t eat out in St Neots. There were several shops, some small and independent which is good. We did notice great cafes for breakfast/lunch and a good footpath by the river for riverside walks. Steve’s Taxis provided excellent customer service to and from the venue at very reasonable prices.

Saint Neots is a lovely little village on a long river with boating and walking on offer in the area. The other advantage is it's proximity to Cambridge which is also beautiful. A wonderful place to visit.

The hotel staff are soo lovely, from the reception staff to the cleaners and waiting staff. Such a credit to the hotel. The food was pretty good for the most part. Lovely views of the lake not sure if you can walk all the way round it but makes for a lovely spot to sit and read a book. Rooms are spacious and the spa makes a lovely extra.

I love that my room was consistently clean. I appreciate the front desk very much. They were very helpful. I love the aroma that envelopes you as you walk into the reception area; it was beautiful and not overpowering. The breakfast at The Gravel Pit was also very good, and the setting was very clean.
