The staff were some of the friendliest - ever
The breakfast service was spot on: lovely staff, excellent food and nice friendly atmosphere.
Just one slight niggle - and it is slight - the breakfast coffee could be much improved. Tbh it tasted like a cheap instant, despite being poured from a filter pot.
We loved our room which overlooked the church at the rear. So lovely and peaceful- apart from the church bells ringing on our last night, every hour and on the hour. But it certainly hasn’t put us off staying again. Loved it!

Parking available with permit right next to the pub and only a 10 min walk from the centre of Winchester . We loved the atmosphere and interior of the pub . The food was exceptional and cooked to order and all of the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
