We loved our stay. We had a very warm welcome from Victoria complete with a glass of prosecco and chatting by a cosy fire. The house is amazing, it's much more like staying with classy friends than a B and B. Very comfortable and lots of thoughtful little touches. Delicious (I'm guessing) Italian dinner available with pre-booking (we couldn't arrive in time to try it). Breakfast was outstanding. Cute dogs and kitten to pet. Great location and good tips for local visits.

The house is a tastefully renovated antique cottage. Modern conveniences (heating, WLAN, plumbing....) have been installed in an unobtrusive way that doesn't affect the overall character. Julie was a super host, a mine of useful information and a great cook - English breakfast was always a delight, including much local produce. We were pleased that quality took priority over price ;-)

Newton Abbot is a nice little town, with a decent array of shops. If you have little ones, you must go to iTown as it's a great place for toddlers and Primary School kids. The walk along the river and the Hackney Marshes are fantastic and the racecourse looks to be well maintained.

A lovely small town which is ideally located to explore both Dartmoor and the many attractions of South Devon. There are a good range of places to eat. For me, the highlight was the superb food and service at The Eastern Eye.

We didnt actually visit Newton Abbot itself, but the area is great for exploring Dartmoor, the East Devon coast and visiting Exeter. Wonderful food at The Cridford Inn in Trusham, Home Farm Cafe on the Parke Estate, The Ridge Cafe, Haldon Forest Park, The Cafe on The Green at Widecombe in the Moor and The Thatched Tavern at Maidencombe. All of these eateries can include great walks and are dog friendly.

Newton Abbott is a railway town, so a great place for getting to other places. It is worth exploring in it's own right, the bell tower and town museum are worth a visit. There are plentiful shops and cafes. Hackney Marshes, next to the racecourse are are pleasant walk.
The cooked breakfast in the guests lounge was very good. Charlotte the guest house owner took us in her car to the nearby house of the relative we had come to visit. She also recommended and gave us menu leaflets for a couple d of restaurants in Newton Abbot. One tip for guests arriving by car; The driveway is narrow but manageable to drive up. Safe parking is fine at the back of the house. Guests may find it best to ring Charlotte from the driveway gate, She will ensure that a parking space is clear to park in.
Lovely location - gorgeous setting. Loved eating breakfast looking out on the view with option to sit outside on decking if wished. Breakfast was calm and relaxed and all staff seemed happy. Made for a nice start to the day!
Room was simple but comfy. Very quiet and as said before, the whole place felt so relaxed. It was a really relaxing stay, exactly what we needed. We would definitely stay again but maybe only if a little cheaper as price is quite steep for the simple outdated decor.
We loved everything about our stay the only negative was we couldn’t stay longer ….. the reason we said it didn’t match our expectations was we believe it was to cheap for what u have all staff were amazing never saw the chef yo thank him we ate each night we stayed and had breakfast every time the food was totally amazing ….. we throughly enjoyed our stay and will 100 percent return
Thankyou everyone
The apartment is ideally situated in near proximity to both Paignton and Torquay where we have family. We also found it easy to access places of interest to us - Totnes, Brixham, Dartmouth, Kingsbridge, Slapton Sands and Salcombe . We have appreciated the tasteful furniture, the excellently equipped kitchen and many other facilities we were not expecting. A great place to enjoy a holiday in South Devon
This was a great location for exploring the south west. We arrived on the Sunday afternoon by car and did not use it again until we went home on Friday! The walk into Newton Abbot across Hackney Marsh nature reserve is very pleasant, and we visited key towns in the area by train, which are plentiful from Newton Abbot. Next time we come we'll leave the car at home!
You couldn't find better hosts than at the Keyberry Hotel. Excellent dinner and cooked breakfast. We appreciated having marmalade The manager went out of his way to help us access the hotel as there were roadworks that evening. Very comfortable bed. Warm and quiet room. Private off-road parking.
Great little hotel above a pub, conveniently located for us and dog friendly. We weren’t sure what to expect with a dog friendly accommodation, but the rooms were exceptionally clean, modern and large. We ate breakfast in the pub in each morning and the staff were wonderful.
The hotel was in a good location. Walking distance to the town. Parking was good. The owners were really polite and helpful. The room was clean and tidy the bathroom was really big. The breakfast was really good. The bed was really comfortable and the pillows really soft.
The host jayne was lovely we had everything and more that we needed, it was very easy to find and central for everywhere around, there is a lovely pub called the sloop 6 minute walk away serving lovely food and the service was warm and friendly, what a lovely place to stay
Absolutely loved this place. We stayed in a bell tent, it was just like being in a hotel room! We ate in the pub, and it was the best meal we'd had in a good long while. Staff lovely too. Highly recommended. Will definitely be coming back.
Really nicely furnished apartment in a great location close to all the attractions around Torquay, Newton Abbott and Paignton. View was nice although weather didn't help! Bathroom and shower were spotlessly clean as was rest of the apartment.
We spent a week in Devon at this lovely apartment. Delia and Malcolm were really welcoming and had clearly put a lot of thought in to the guest experience. We liked it so much we booked for next year!
House has a spacious lounge area and bathrooms, underfloor heating is cosy once warmed up. Newton Abbot was pleasant, nice market town with nice pubs for drink / food
As a whole it was all excellent. Daisy went above and beyond to be helpful and accommodating. The hotel itself was really lovely and the food was excellent.
