I do not beleave the reveiws for the thomas arms as on booking . com are true. because i had stayed at this hotel before be it 10 years or so ago when it was a very good standard. If as i have now done now and looked a Ttip adviser i would never have booked this hotel. There reveiws reflected exactly my experience. I rate it as the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. Never again. They don`t even return calls when messages left on answerphone.

It’s a great place to stay as a base as the coastline is lovely, Llanelli centre isn’t much to write home about tbh, but there’s all the shops you would need, but as we played golf in the area it was just what we needed.

It's tricky because I live here....I love it, amazing beaches and facilities nearby, but it is a big town and there are positives and negatives as anywhere. Public transport is poor and only a few taxi companies work at night, so plan your trips well. There is a real choice of places to eat and drink and entertainment can be found for everyone most weekends. Gateway holiday park always have something going on for all the family and there are many great pubs/cafes/restaurants in town and in the surrounding villages.

Was once our family home but the lack of good employers and businesses have resulted in the town running down and forcing people with hopes of a future away. the Gower peninsula however is still a stunning beauty spot.
I get back to the area when I can as we still have family in the area and many childhood memories still.

We thought there should have been some hooks to hang large coats on Extra coat hangers would be useful As we were in the disabled room an extra chair would be a good idea As it was a disabled room a lower shelf would be handy
Really lovely stay at Llwyn country house. Stayed for Christmas to visit nearby family & were made so welcome by Marius. His friendly greeting on arrival was so refreshing compared to many large chain hotels. The hotel is cosy & has a warmth like a loved home. Honesty bar if we felt like a late drink & delicious breakfast in the morning where nothing was too much trouble.
Bedroom was clean, well presented, with a super comfortable bed.
We’ll definitely return next time we are visiting the family.
Thank you for a great stay.
room very clean and tidy. staff exceptional. very friendly and helpful at all times. ample off road parking
the breakfast was excellent and great value. good central location for sightseeing. ample parking off road behind the property. 5 minutes walk from llanelli town and rail station with 15 minutes ride to swansea town center and great access to south west wales to the west via a very scenic coastal train ride.
It's a beautiful 5 bedroom house located Llanelli town in South Wales and Helen is super host and has quick responses and we were given warm welcome.. :) the location is very close to millennium coastal walk and also short drive to Gower Peninsula and must visit is Rossili bay it is beautiful in summer on sunny day! we were lucky to have sunshine when visited.
Maurius the chef could not have been more helpful or obliging. His food was wonderful and he really went out of his way to look after me and make me feel so welcome. The hotel is spotless and very comfortable. The location is very quiet and peaceful.
comfortable night. lovely view from bedroom. very good evening meal and breakfast. staff very helpful. I was glad of the lift. I previously stayed in b&b/ hotels in west Wales that were over twice the price but nothing like as comfortable.
Friendly staff, nice food in restaurant, generally comfortable room, lovely massage in the spa. There were loud functions going on during our stay (no pre-warning) - we were moved to a quieter side of the hotel which we appreciated.
Brilliant town centre location, only 5 minutes away from the Rugby Stadium and the Restaurant Food was excellent and great value. We receive a lovely warm welcome and got to check in early. Would definitely visit again.
Bed was comfortable, room was clean and had all the facilities needed for a business night. Pub attached to the hotel was good pub food, staff were friendly and attentive. Best in Llanelli that I've stayed in.
Staff were personable and welcoming. The room was dated but served it's purpose. Its a central location for llanelli. We had a big family lunch, food was enjoyed by all. We will definitely stay here again.
