It's was the complete package and perfect few days get away from everything, the boat house was that little bit of privacy away from the main hotel, the staff were all so welcoming and friendly. Amazing log fire in the bar. ..... I could go on.

The host was lovely.. they happily stashed our bikes away. The breakfast was fab too and they had some good local recommendations for things to see on route

Absolutely fantastic stay at the Kilchrenan Inn. 5 stars, truly.
The food was incredible, drinks were good and reasonably priced.
Could not fault the staff, they were an absolute delight and in fact - one of the staff went over and beyond for a vulnerable person (non-guest) whom was having car trouble. They ensured the person got home okay to the hotel they were staying and helped arranging roadside service.
The rooms were absolutely beautiful, beds comfortable and lovely bathrooms.
Breakfast was just divine too.

Everyone working there were professional and friendly.
Everyone working there were professional and friendly. The hotel was spotless and showed the benefits of a recent refurb. We ate in the hotel the first night and the food was of a very high standard. Our room was in the newer wing (Room Fyne).. there are four rooms in a line with wonderful views over the loch... and I believe these rooms are slightly bigger than those in the older wing.
The rooms, restaurant, bar and lounge were spotless. We had a minor issue with plumbing (the shower temp was cool), were told that they had reduced the water pressure to our room and that would be remedied asap.
There is a full size snooker table in its own lounge that we may use the next time.
On our next night and at the suggestion of the hotel manager, we ate at the Kilchrenan Inn ( 5 mins drive from the hotel; you have to book as it is very popular). They just don't now how good they are. It was one of the nicest meals we have every had in Scotland. We could have chosen every option as the menu was so varied!
All in all, a huge surprise and an excellent stay at the Taychreggan hotel. Many thanks.

This is a very comfortable hotel with good rooms, friendly and efficient staff. The hotel has a beautiful location on the shores of Loch Awe.
We ate in the hotel each night; food was very good.
Kilchrenan is located some miles down a single track road; this means that each time you go out sightseeing you initially have to use this road.
In this part of Argyll there are many outdoor things to see and do such as hill walking, visits to Oban and elsewhere.

As I have communicated already to you, when we arrived , after booking some 8 weeks before, we discovered that no booking had been made and that there was no room in the hotel for us. This reflects extremely badly on your company , we wish you to organise a new date for us to visit the hotel at no cost to ourselves except for food and drink

We booked out and went elsewhere.
We booked out and went elsewhere. The man in charge was very friendly and couldn't do enough but it was as if they were not ready for the season. There wasn't a menu printed, there was no one in reception when we arrived (i called the hotel number from my mobile). There were leaves on the steps going into the hotel and in the hotel as well as the conservatory.
We loved everything, possibly one of the nicest hotels we've stayed in! To us this was a 4 star hotel, not a 3 star! The hotel was in a gorgeous setting overlooking the water. The staff were incredibly friendly and the room was very spacious. There were two restaurants and a bar with games. The dinner and breakfast were amazing (just missing baked beans). The only downside was that we had only booked to stay one night and wish we had allowed more time to really enjoy what this hotel had to offer! We will definitely be returning!
I booked the The Ardanaiseig Hotel to celebrate a special occasion and wasn't disappointed.
The themed room was fantastic and a real treat. It had all the necessary items a luxury room should have.
The location is fantastic for an out of the way relaxing experience, with woods, nature trails and the loch right on the doorstep.
The restaurant is fantastic with exceptional service, fantastic food and drink.
The staff are polite, professional and informative, a pleasure to communicate with.
We stayed in Scotland for 7 days traveling by car and this was our favorite location. Location was beautiful, about 30 min from OBAN ferry terminal, beautiful lake, beautiful grounds, beautiful room. We had the tasting menu for dinner here and it was fantastic, i was great value for everything it provides. This is a 5 star hotel in my opinion, when we come back to Scotland will make sure to come back here.
Dinner and Breakfast and of course wonderful location. The staff were truly excellent and very friendly. The menu for dinner was restricted due to some staff absence due to Covid , but we had an excellent dinner. Great value. The management is fully involved and available to chat , something that is not always seen in some hotels. Definitely worth visiting .
stunning position right on the shore of Loch Awe. lovely friendly atmosphere with superb staff and Manager. Food excellent and breakfasts wonderful. A relaxing treat in a beautiful area, not far from Oban with sea tours.
An unspoilt hotel not too smart where dogs are welcome and fire pits on the shore at night. A real find. Book early.

We love the hotel. It is a beautiful old house within a glorious setting. Gary gave us the warmest of welcomes and was attentive to all our needs. He added a real quality to our stay with his cheerfulness, humor, and knowledge. The rest of the staff were great too. Our rooms were beautiful and the food delicious.
We loved everything about this hotel. Stunning
and private location and with great attention
to detail. The General Manager did everything to make out stay
as comfortable as possible and gave helpful
advice about our onward destination. Both dinner
and breakfast were excellent. Thoroughly
recommended.
The staff were very friendly and when the hotel said dog friendly it really was, with dog treats and towels to dry your dog and separate dining area if you wanted your dog with you at dinner, breakfast. Room was luxurious with a loch view which was fantastic, food was 1st class along with the service.
Wonderful location and Hotel. Nothing is any bother, everyone is very friendly and welcoming .We visited with our dog and he is as special a guest as we were.Given a room with easy access to the grounds as requested Happy memories and would not hesitate in going back.
On two days the breakfast was excellent both fish choices. On the other day I had the full Scottish breakfast and while the quality of the ingredients was good the meal had clearly been cooked some time before rendering nearly inedible.
We absolutely LOVED everything about this property. The staff was so kind and accommodating, the food was absolutely incredible, and the views were spectacular. We hope to visit Scotland again some day just so we can stay again!
Really lovely stay. Location was fantastic and the staff were very attentive. We had dinner one night which was delicious. It is a very very quiet hotel, which some people may really enjoy. I would recommend a stay.
Meals were very good! My (grown) son's burger was one of the best he has ever eaten.
The location on Lake Awe was amazing.
Talking to our wait staff - so very friendly and informative when asking about the hotel.
The off the beaten track, beautiful Ardanaisig Hotel nestled on 240 Acres with a beautiful view of a loch and mountains is breathtaking. A wonderful country hotel.
