Eastbourne has many facilities for short or a long stay.
Eastbourne has many facilities for short or a long stay. A pier, terraced walks along the front, pebbly beach, many bars and restaurants. The town is split into quarters such as artistic etc. If you take the time lots of nice places tucked away from tge centre. It has a modern shopping centre, very good transport both bus and rail. A Marina on the outskirts and close to exceptional countryside that is easy accessible.

The pier is a nice place to visit on a sunny day, as the walk around it is nice. The are many restaurants and cafes to choose from to eat and drink. The town centre has many high street named shops as well as a cinema to catch your favourite film.

I love Eastbourne.
I love Eastbourne. The big long beach that you can walk all the way. Love sovereign Harbour, both have great resturants. Good shopping in Eastbourne town. We had a lovely curry near old town and great food in the crown and Anchor. Not forgeting the Bandstand where we saw a fantastic Motown band. Always good acts on there and two bars.!. Everyone had a great time dancing.
The ONLY reason I continued to stay at this hotel after I found bed bugs in my room was because the staff are superb!! I can't fault their helpfulness, friendliness and willingness to put themselves out to help. They really deserve better.
Other plus points: The is location perfect - right on the seafront, and an easy walk to the town centre (even with my walking frame). I also had brilliant sea views. To be fair, the beds were comfortable - despite the bed bugs!
The fact there was also a bar with sea views , the barman made superb pina coladas !
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
The rooms with sea views are worth paying the extra, waking up with the breeze and the view are priceless, the restaurant food was excellent the crab avocado and scallops starter both amazing the duo of pork main was delicious 😋
If your going to Eastbourne or want a short break in a nice hotel stay here.
This is a lovely guesthouse in Eastbourne. It is walking distance to restaurants and cafes. The room is very quiet and the bed is very comfortable. My host provided helpful information about the area, including a hike along the Seven Sisters. They offer a number of breakfast choices. I went with the full English breakfast, which was delicious and very filling.
These comments are on behalf of the guest for whom I made the booking as I did not stay at the hotel myself.
"Everything was excellent and exceeded expectations. Professional and welcoming staff, comfortable room, great breakfast, ideal location for the beach, coastal walks and Eastbourne's artistic quarter. Bus stops and railway station nearby".
This is a great little hotel, situated on one of Eastbourne's seafront squares. Ran by a fantastic team who go out of their way to make sure that your stay is a great experience. Struggling like everyone, they have somehow managed to keep prices low, whilst refusing to sacrifice their ethos.
Such a warm and friendly welcome and our room was lovely. This is our third stay at The Oban and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else - the hotel is in a great location on the seafront and is very good value for money. Thank you so much for another relaxing stay in Eastbourne. Highly recommend.
Excellent stay, highly recommend. Exceeded expectations. Great location near seafront, town centre & a great selection of restaurants /spotless and modern hotel/great breakfast/ outdoor seating area, very friendly and hospitable hosts, we will be returning.
The hotel is in the perfect location, right across from the scenic boardwalk and pier in Eastbourne. Around the corner is the pedestrian walking zone, chock full of restaurants and shops. Even the train station is only about a 7-10 minute walk away.
It was reasonable- but to be fair it was a very slow week for the hotel so breakfast was cooked to order rather than hot buffet selection and there is no evening dining - but there is a limited room service menu
Staff all very helpful and friendly, lovely comfortable room, high quality cooked breakfast.
Location - is situated ideally between seafront and town.
By far the best accommodation I have used in Eastbourne.
This is a lovely two-bedroom apartment with a subtle view over the Eastbourne seafront.
Comfortable beds, two bathrooms, first floor but no stairs to climb, your own parking spot - what more could you want.
It was immaculate, I couldn’t fault the cleanliness. Staff were also so helpful and polite. Definitely the best place I have stayed in Eastbourne and I’ve tried most of the hotels along the seafront.
The staff is really nice, location is just few minutes walk from the beach.
You can buy a day parking permit for £2 from the hotel.
The view is great. The hotel reception and stairs were clean.
The view was lovely. We enjoyed the breakfast and relaxing in the bar area. The shower was very nice too. Also liked that, for a small fee we could park the car close to the hotel
Usual comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Stay here often on business. Good seafront location but only 15 minutes walk from town centre.
