Fascinating and beautiful cathedral. The art collection at the Pallant gallery was impressive, though no concessions on tickets for pensioners. Fishbourne Roman Palace was impressive . We loved the atmosphere and architecture of the city centre. Great Waterstones for browsing and lots of good places to eat. We had a delicious salad at Côte. The museum was packed so we didn’t linger long but it looked worth a visit.

Absolutely fabulous place. Lot's to see and do.
Absolutely fabulous place. Lot's to see and do. The cathederal is wonderful as is the canal boat trip. If you like food then there's lots of restaurants here. We visited 4 and they were all good especially Purchases on North Street which was exceptional. There is also a lovely walk around the city on the historical city wall pathway.

We only had a very short trip and could have stayed much longer and done so much more, we thoroughly enjoyed what we did do though. The Bishops Palace garden is beautiful and well worth a visit, we also enjoyed Fishbourne Roman Palace, which is really interesting and has some beautiful gardens and mosaics. Sadly it rained a lot and we couldn't do some of the things we had planned, maybe next time. We visited Tinwood vineyard on our way home and had a delicious lunch and bought some lovely sparkling wine to take home.

Comprehensive shopping and eateries - we found the people really lovely, chatty and happy to help. So much history, lots to see. You must visit Luckes - independent, fabulous food, lovely staff. The Real Eating company - really good coffee, lovely staff. Our first experience was a bit unfortunate but the manager and staff were quick to respond and rectify that - highly recommend them - they have two venues in Chichester.

Our first visit to Chichester, to meet up with relatives who live locally, we had limited time to explore the town. We wandered around, walked on the old city walls, visited an interesting museum with a temporary display of Star Wars toys and of course visited the Cathedral. Chichester has largely retained the old type of 'proper' town centre with individual local shops in addition to the larger chains which makes it more interesting to walk around.
Lovely small hotel with spacious communal areas in the bar, gardens and restaurant to relax. Perfect for a weekend seeing Chichester, Bracklesham and West Wittering beach.
Restaurant was flexible to cater for vegans with hot breakfast, although not much option from the continental buffet, could do with plant based yoghurt and milk for cereals. Equally room had no UHT plant milk sachets and biscuits contained animal products and allergens.
Fantastic Indian restaurant just across the road, Thyme and Chillies.
The hotel is in a great location close to Chichester and very easy to find. Rooms were spacious and well appointed.
The breakfast was very tasty, busy service but staff were very efficient.
The evening meal was extremely good and it was a pleasant surprise to try some new dishes. I had a couple of queries with reception and the receptionist was very efficient at resolving matters.
Ideal location, easy walking distance from the town centre and the station. Great to have a studio apartment as an alternative to staying in a hotel. Instructions for the coffee machine would be helpful for anyone who doesn't usually use one.
The communal areas in the hotel were lovely, as were the staff. The breakfast ingredients were (almost) all sourced from local farms, and you can taste the quality. The location is fantastic, only a couple of minutes walk to the town centre.
The staff were fab, especially Sam on reception. Our room was great, very comfortable and clean. This hotel/pub represents exceptional value for money right in the centre of Chichester, with great shopping and restaurants close to hand.
Loved the breakfast room and outdoor seating option. Cleanliness of hotel and standard of decor was excellent. Staff were excellent and friendly owners. Lovely old building. Proximity to town centre was great, 200 yds.
This Hotel is in a perfect location in Chichester , the staff were very professional and helpful . The food served in the Restaurant is great in the evening and at breakfast , this Hotel is a great place to stay .
Having normally used hotels in this area for work this has a refreshingly home comfort feel you can't get in hotel. This property was spacious, immaculately clean, great value. I'm highly impressed.
The location was great; 15 minutes walk from Chichester town centre. I especially liked the fact that in daylight hours you can walk into town up the canal path, which is delightful.
Lovely location and close to Chichester university where we dropped my daughter. Camp site clean and staff friendly. Easy check in with code for keys.
I would stay again.
We are both Vegan and the cooked breakfast was lovely.
The location was perfect for Chichester central and also to visit Fishbourne and Chichester harbour.
Comfortable hotel, great location for my needs, pleasant staff with rooms well appointed. The restaurant was nice with relaxing piano music & good food.
