The area was lovely and quiet , although hilly it is wheelchair friendly . I wouldn’t recommend pushing the wheelchair up hill daily . Loved the area , lots to do and see , small villages to visit nearby.

Spotless clean, quite and relaxing apartment within easy walking distance to all local amenities and attractions. Would recommend and would return. Only small gripe (and this is picky because it gave a comfortable night's sleep) was the double bed height which was very low. Otherwise 10/10.

We have visited the East Neuk of Fife many times and enjoy Cellardyke as a base for our visit, it gives us great access for enjoying the coastal walks, tidal pool swimming and kayaking . We have eaten at The Haven on several occasions and always enjoyed it.

The Neuk of fife is and for years now has been one of our family’s favourite short trip places to go. Cellardyke holds it own with the other beautiful wee harbours in the area, such as Anstruther, Pittenweem, Crail and even St Monan’s. Summertime is the best time of course as the beaches along that particular stretch of the coast are great for the kids. We love walks from one wee harbour to another. Always clean and tidy, we’ve all had smashing walks along their sands and rocks, crabbing and suchlike as we go. Rainy weather? Who cares! Nothing holds us back, on go the raincoats, hats and wellies and it’s off we go, stopping once or twice for wee snacks and ice cream on the way back. Great chippies and cafes😋

Interesting place by the sea. Quaint.

Interesting place by the sea. Quaint. Parking very difficult. Good chippie on the Main Street. Friendly shopkeepers. The phone number given for The Coastal Inn was not for the pub itself. An example: sadly we slept in on our first morning: we phoned to apologise and advise we’d be late for breakfast. Told : that’s OK. We went as soon as we could, only to be told the staff had gone: nothing available. Proprietor said he didn’t get our call : we eventually found out we had spoken to his brother in a different part of Scotland: he had not passed our message on!! The stairway to the flat where we were accommodated was a disgrace: filthy carpet on stairs which definitely needed replacing.
